 Direction: As a group we will circle the nouns in the following sentences.
 Mrs. Fields work in a department store.
 We traveled to Texas.
 The basketball rolled into the street.
 Johnathan has a birthday on August 24.

Fun Time!
 Inactive games called “The Longest List”
 Have students break into groups, and have them make a three-column chart
with the titles “Person,” “Place,” “Thing.” Tell them that they will have two
minutes to fill out each column with as many nouns as they can see from
slide.
