2. The national parks in the United States are
enormous. There are some very
interesting wild animals there for example
grizzly bears, alligators and bison.
3. YELLOWSTONE PARK
• It is in the states of
Wyoming, Montana
and Idaho. It was
the world´s first
national park. It is
famous for its hot
springs and geysers.
You can camp,
cycle, fish and hike
there.
4. YOSEMITE
• It is in the state of California. It’s famous because of its
Granite Mountains and Giant Sequoia trees. There are many
animals; for example: bears, marmots... In Yosemite we can
walk, hike, cycle and go rock climbing or racing. In the
winter the park is open for skiing.
5. MONUMENT VALLEY
• It’s in the states of Arizona and Utah. Part of the park it is a reserve
for Navajo indians. The park is famous for its rock formations. It has
many different species of plants. The Navajos still use many of
these plants today for medicinal purpose. It appears in many films,
such as “Formest Gump” and “Back to the future 3”. These films
scenes in Monumental Valley.
6. THE EVERGLADES NATIONALS
PARK
• It is in the state of Florida. It consists of subtropical
wetlands, inhabited by alligators, turtles, snakes and
frogs, a part from birds and fish. Visitors can hike or go
kayaking and canoeing.
