Today wind turbine technology is one of the fastest growing power generation technologies operating in large numbers at harsh and difficult environment sites and it is difficult to monitor each and every windmill separately. There are times when faults occur in motors of windmills are not detected in earlier stage and we come to know about damage when motor gets fully damaged. Here we using wireless monitoring based on MEMS accelerometer sensor which senses the vibrations occurring in the motor and based on the severity of vibrations, sensor sends the data to the controlling unit to take further action. Neural network based work is included to get the accurate and precise vibratory signals to detect fault at a very early stage to avoid full damage to the motor.

The elements of a mechatronic system, which are mechanical, electrical and electronic, are interconnected and the connection between the different parts must act as a unit. The exchange of information between two components of the system is possible if there is a communication in common parameters. The interface refers to all the ways to handle the processes in a system. The number and design of interfaces within an architecture and system boundary significantly influence the simplicity, adaptability, and testability of a system. Interfaces, which are hardware and software, define the functionality of the system by inserting functions from one component to another. The article describes the method of selecting the components and the way of testing the system during production. Finally, the system must meet the requirements of the customer. The mechatronic system discussed is an industrial product, created in a digital factory.

In this article, the causes of technological disturbances in electrical systems are considered, and several characteristic disadvantages of the protection and automation of elements of electrical systems are highlighted. The tendency to decrease the reliability of relay protection associated with the transition from analog to digital types of protection is substantiated. Based on the studied examples, the use of fuzzy logic in protections, the expediency of using fuzzy logic elements in protection devices, and the automation of electrical systems to identify types of short circuits are justified. This article analyzes the most common damages and presents the results of modeling an electrical system with transformer coupling, where all types of asymmetric short circuits were initiated. The dynamics of changes in the symmetrical components of short-circuit currents of the forward, reverse, and zero sequences are determined. Rules have been created for the identification of asymmetric types of short circuits. An algorithm of protection and automation operation using fuzzy logic elements has been developed. The proposed algorithm of protection and automation will reduce the time to determine the type of damage and trigger protections.
