Outlines, essays, and exams: on our exams, I will allow you to make and use a one
page note sheet with outlines and ideas for your essay answers. You can prepare this
sheet outside of class to help you organize possible answers to the essay questions,
and then use it during the exam to help you write out your essays. I very strongly
recommend that you take notes in class on the topics mentioned as possible essay
questions so that you will have enough material to put together a good outline. This
will help you greatly during the exam.
