2. For the filming of my main task me and my group was had to have character
profiles as it will allow my target audience to get familiar with my characters
within the film in more depth. It will also allow my target audience to have a
greater understanding of why the character has been put in the film and the
specifics that each character plays within the film. Me and my group selected
certain character roles due to use performing research we decided that our
crime thriller film should have certain types of characters. In our opening
sequence we have a representation of what the audience thinks to by a drug
dealer/user and a mysterious character that is seen briefly in the entire
footage.
INTRODUCTION
3. Within the opening sequence our
character ‘Kyle’ is given the stereotype
of a drug user, throughout the opening
sequence he may be seen as a main
character to our audience but this is
just a illusion he is only been placed
within the film to aid the story line
build up he will not be alive
throughout the film this is why ‘Kyle’
has been given the donor character
type.
Character type: Donor
KYLE
4. Within the opening sequence our character
‘T’ is given the stereotype of a drug of
drug dealer due to his mannerism he is
calm throughout all times and never gets
his hands to dirty this is why he is seen
with his side kick that carries out the back
breaking work of all crimes carried out, due
to him being a feared and powerful drug
dealer he no longer needs to drive as he has
people willing to do this for him. His
anger/rage is demonstrated when dealing
with Kyle for not having his money as in
the he will be the reason Kyle ends up
dead.
