I’d like to look at how Edublogs as an example of how a creative, flexible and fun Web 2 application can support E-learning and teaching through just a couple of the many features available. Edublogs provides teacher and student blogs and in case you haven’t use a blog it can on a simplistic level be described as a website that is used to provide a regular commentary on opinions, thoughts, ideas and events to name a few. Edublogs is based on WordPress and in a similar way can be used on 2 levels, as a very easy to use and intuitive blog, posting experiences, thoughts and ideas or alternatively as a powerful course management system with Edublogs campus. I’m talking about Edublogs because its something I’ve used very effectively in my role as a Learning Technologist in FE.
