● Driver error is most common cause of traffic accidents.
● By this improving technology our car will do the concentrating for us.
● It is the project by google that involves developing technology for the
driverless car
● This project Led by Google engineer Sebastian thrun who is director of
stanford artificial intelligence & co-inventor of google street view

● First driverless car proposed by general motors in 1939
● In 1925 haudina lab discovered radio controlled driverless car
● Google Began at 2009. Months later, a car made the first route
autonomously
● 2012, many kilometres were self-driven on freeways and city streets.
● 2014, Designed a new prototype vehicle without steering wheel and
pedals
