Patterns:
Patterns are things that are arranged
following a rule or rules.
There are different kinds of patterns in
nature.
1. Symmetry:
Definition: Symmetry means that one shape becomes
exactly like another when you move it in some way:
turn, flip or slide.
Bilateral and Mirror Symmetry
Radial and Rotational Symmetry
Five-fold and Six-fold Symmetry
2. Fractals:
Definition: A fractal is a natural phenomenon or a
mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern
that displays at every scale. It is also known as
expanding symmetry or evolving symmetry.

3. Fibonacci Spirals:
Definition: A spiral is a curve which emanates from
a central point, getting progressively farther away as
it revolves around the point.
Fibonacci Spirals
Shapes:
Shape defines the form of an object.
1. Circles and Spheres:
Definition: A circle is a simple closed shape in
Euclidean geometry.
A sphere is a perfectly round geometrical object in
three dimensional spaces.

2. Hexagons:
Definition: Hexagons are six-sided polygons, closed,
two dimensional, many-sided figures with straight
edges.

3. Cones:
Definition: A cone is a three-dimensional geometric
shape that tapers smoothly from a flat, usually circular
base to a point called the apex or vertex.
