Mayor of Weihai City warmly received AITA delegation
On April 2016, the delegation headed by AITA CEO
Michael Guo, and combined of Wu Haiyi (senior
international relations officer of Australian Bundaberg
regional council and senior international partnership
officer of Central Queensland University) and Mr. Steven
Moon (President of Australia Federation Freetrade
Organization and Australian Resource Mining Company),
visited Weihai City, Shandong Province.
Zhang Hui (Mayor of Weihai city), Mr. Deng Yong
(Director of Weihai Municipal Bureau of Commerce),
and Mr. Yang Zhiwei (Director of Foreign and Overseas
Chinese Affairs Office of Weihai Government), warmly
received the delegation.
They had deep communication about trade cooperation
and overseas investment between China and Australia.
Mayor Zhang Hui expressed that economic and trade
cooperation between Weihai, Australia and New Zealand
in the field of agriculture and food, infrastructure construction, resources and energy,
manufacturing industry, health and medical care in the future. CEO Michael Guo also
expressed that he would like to promote the cooperation among Weihai and Australia and
New Zealand countries.
