One of the most signicant challenges in the global arena is to lower
the pressure on natural water resources, among other resources, due
to the rapid growth of population. It is clear today that technologies
can serve as a key to a much more ecient exploitation of natural
resources (Water, Soil, Energy & Materials). New technologies and
smart solutions are estimated to contribute almost two-thirds of the
additional quantities of water needed in the next 30 years.

In Japan, prime cap rates have compressed to levels reminiscent of the 2006
to 2008 property boom. Going forward, the degree to which the market can
accept lower yields will depend on the bullishness of investors regarding the
leasing outlook. Australia continues to see strong investment appetite, historically low interest rates, low unemployment and a strengthening of nonmining
economic activity.
2015 looks to deliver more of the same. In China, deal negotiations point to a softening of pricing as uncertainty about the market's ability to absorb
vast amounts of new supply increases. In Hong Kong, generally suppressed
volumes remained with the exception of the residential market where primary launches are being well received. ln Singapore, low initial yields have not been an effective deterrent to funds raised from domestic corporations and high net worth club deals which attempt to profit from the strata title sale of units in commercial buildings which were bought en bloc.

organisation that facilitates Australian businesses looking to engage with
China. ABF does this through identifying and understanding knowledge
gaps and facilitating dialogue, business and partnerships. Our initiatives

of partners across business, government, industry, academia and the wider Australian and Chinese
community.
ABF has developed a high profile business platform including a range of SME Mid Market-focused
events which are supported by ABF media and corporate services. ABF’s mission is to bring together
