• Hobbies: Reading, Philosophies, World History, Painting, Ranching, and remodeling buildings

• Siblings: Family consisted of 6 children. Oldest brother Joseph passed away in 2004 in France, he was 78
years old; Sister Terry lives in Lockhart, Texas; Henri lives in Rabat, Morocco and owns land and operates
quarry extracting marbles and granite exported to various parts of the countries in France, Italy, and America
• Clothing: Loves labels; classical design; Great material, classic shoes and fine accessories. Fortunate to travel
to Milan, Italy where workmanship is superior
• Learn English and other Languages: While in French Morocco, and France she learned English, German,
Spanish, and some Arabic language
• Major World Event: At 2 years old when Germany left Morocco and France. Her recollection is limited, but
she said the lasting influence of the damages of the war remained deeply in her life. While in Germany she
visited a concentration camp in Dachau, Germany. Most devastating, chilling and unforgettable memory of
her life
• Military Service: Her husband; Potsy Allen (my grandfather) was a Navy Pilot and flew SNJ’s- Post Korean War
• Currency: We own a house in Grenoble, France and transfer Euros to pay the expenses, taxes, and Insurance
using Euros

• Memories: Her father took my Grandma’s husband, my mom (Betty Moseley) , and her to the Airport in
Casablanca; held her close and stayed there waving; as plane took off she saw her fathers frame slowly
disappearing as they flew away. First time in her life that she lost someone dear
• Childhood Memories: Working on the Farm in North Africa, near the Atlas Mountain Range. Her father came to
French Morocco as a colonist; he was an irrigation engineer. He designed and built elevated tanks made of
concreate, a levee to open the valves for land irrigation. My grandmother’s father invented the centrifugal pump to
be installed at the bottom of wells, system was made of cast iron material; pump was patented in his name and
became very important in irrigation in that part of the country. Another interesting fact is that my grandmother
met the King briefly in Morocco. His name as she recalls was Moulay Hassan. He gave my grandmother a hawk to
take care of.
• Personal Connection to Agriculture: My grandmother owns a 1300 acre ranch in Luling Tx. It is her pride and joy;
Father invented centrifugal pump; Are family are descendants of the Mayflower, She picks pecans out at the ranch;
sells them to local market; She builds houses/ remodels; at the moment is working on a log cabin for my family to
stay in when visiting the ranch; Use to own another ranch in Johnson City for over 20 years but sold it a few years
ago; raises Beef master cattle at our ranch
• Growing up in Segregation: Question is lodged in her mind as a precursor of how difficult it is to overcome hostility
in people who are prejudice
• Religion: Catholic; Attended 1st grade at catholic convent school where she was instructed in her religion

• Betty Elizabeth Moseley
• Born September 16, 1956 in Casablanca
• Was a 4th grade teacher for 15 years
• Lived in St. Louis Missouri for most of her life
• Has traveled around the world and lived in Germany and taught at an English speaking school
• Kansas City Chiefs and Royals cheerleader
• Graduated from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches and attended Texas A&M for 3 semesters; also attended
Texas A&M in Kingsville
• A vice president now at our family insurance company McCall Hibler and Allen
• As her mother (Chris Allen) was working two jobs my mom basically raised the family by herself
• Lives in Austin Texas with two cats named Molly and Max

• Mark Wallace Moseley
• Was in the Army for 17 years as a Major
• Retired as honorable discharge
• Qualified for the Olympic Trials in the mile
• Lived in Michigan throughout his childhood
• Works as an insurance producer in Austin Texas
• Graduated from Ouachita Baptist University
• Was an All-American in high school and collegiate level
• Was born October 19, 1957
• Grew up during the riots in Detroit Michigan in 1967
• Tigers won World Series in 1968 that brought the city together
• Siblings: Rick Moseley, Beth Moseley, and Lynne Moseley

• Occupation: Carpenter and apprentice in the mid 40’s
• Born: St. Louis Missouri
• Hobbies: Building anything and a big fisher
• Place of Residence: Urban area
• Education: Graduated high school
• Military: He served a mandatory 18 months after WWII
• Living Conditions: Moved around Michigan; 4 bedroom; 2 stories
• Religion: Went to St. Mary Catholic Church 6 blocks from house

• Born July 31, 1932 in Sue Saint Maria upper Peninsula Michigan
• Worked at a Yearbook Studio
• Hobbies: Cooking
• Place of Residence: Urban
• Met husband in Detroit Michigan
• Education: Graduated High School
• Major World Events: Grew up in Great Depression/Korean War
• Religion: Attended St. Mary Catholic Church 6 blocks from house (always sat on 2nd row)

• Attended an all girl academy

• Did not meet each other in Detroit

12. Austin Grant Moseley
• Born May 4th, 1990 in Bloomington, Illinois
• Only child
• Lived in Germany for 3 years while Dad was stationed there for military, and my mom working as a teacher
for an all English speaking academy
• Worked 3 small jobs throughout my life ( Sportsmen’s Barber shop, worked for my Grandmas insurance
company, and Cutco)
• Helping maintain land at our family ranch in Luling, Texas
• Graduate in May of 2015 from Texas A&M with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business.
• Volunteer for Special Olympics every year
