When my work was
published , it caused a
sensation in the
accademic world. This
work was very important
for me.

a charity work in
Bologna; I
accepted it and
after my dad’s
death I devoted
myself to ill and
abandoned
people.
I spent all my money for the
poor.
I died in total poverty in a
poor house in Milan on ninth
of January 1799.
