The researchers adopted a different approach to asking questions by interviewing random people on the street instead of peers in their class. This was done to ensure random results that represented a cross-section of society. While not perfect, they believed this method was the most suitable, realistic and practical way to collect results for their survey.

1. When being asked questions we were not surprised in the approach or selection of
questioning. We thought there could be a more effective alternative approach. We
adopted a slight different approach in asking specific groups of people. Instead of
asking peers of class we asked random people on the street. This gave us extra
insurance that the results would be random and that it represented a cross- section
of society. Of course we understand that we could not make the perfect survey
based on race etc. However we believed that this was the most suitable, realistic
and practical method of collecting results.
