1. To edit my photograph for the double page
spread I have deleted the majority of the
background from the original photograph as I felt
it wasn’t appropriate through the mise-en-scene
as the location didn’t suit my music magazine
genre. Once I deleted the appropriate
background to get the transparent squared
background, I decided to get a rectangle and
make it white to place around the artists, this is
because some areas of the background went
grainy and you could see areas where I had
edited the background, therefore the white made
this less visible, but it also looks better
personally, as I feel this doesn’t make the double
page spread look too busy and it keeps the target
audiences attention to the article but they would
be attracted to the photograph of the band.
