Week 1
I need to add more
coverlines to the front
page.
I managed to create the
masthead, strapline,
barcode and one
coverline.

Developing Photos
This photo was used for the front cover. I enhanced it by giving it a yellow/orange
hue and a warm wash, mimicking the effect of stage lighiting, as though she was in
a spotlight onstage and cut out the background, replacing it with a solid purple,
fitting the colour scheme.

Week 2
I successfully created
multiple sections for
the contents.
I repeated the
masthead.
I continued the colour
scheme of green, purple
and red and kept a serif
style font.
I need to add more
photos to the contents
page which link to the
articles.

Week 3
I am building the
double-page spread on
‘InDesign’. I have
linked the text boxes
over 2 pages and
seperated them into
text boxes.
I still need to add
photos and a title as
well as changing the
background colour.

Developing Photos
This photo was used on my double-page spread. I enhanced in the same way as the
title page, creating the same spotlight effect. This is suitable as it fits the genre and is
also quite eye-catching.
