1. I have been researching through the different record labels to get an idea of the different labels and also to see
which is the most suitable for my artist. One of the record labels i came across was Interscope Records which
is an American record label that was formed in 1990 and is owned by Universal Music Group. Interscope
Records initially only dealt with hip-hop and urban music however by 2000 the record label expanded their
range and eventually till this day they have been signing artists in all genres. This aspect about the company is
very good for my artist as they have different range of music and have a good idea about marketing them as
they are one of the most successful companies in America.
