1. She may have just made an immense comeback but Ivy from The Bree is already planning her wild world
tour. We are happy to have the public nudity, loud, brashy personality and entertaining manor back in
business.
So Ivy, are you enjoying planning your world tour?
Yes, I love being kept busy all day planning and coming up with new ideas to WOW my fans. I’ve really missed the hectic
schedules but at the same time I quite enjoyed my break [laughs].
Really, what did you get up to on your break?
You’ll probably be shocked [sarcastic tone] but I went out every night and just went wild. I had so much fun! Er, my
manager told me I probably shouldn’t mention this but I did get kicked out of my hotel in London [laughs]. I had just got
back smashed after a really decent night out in Mahiki nightclub and let’s put it this way, things got a bit messy.
That doesn’t surprise me at all! Can you tell us any teasers about your tour?
Well, er, I’m hoping to create an unforgettable atmosphere with smoke machines, glowing lights and a different revealing
outfit for each song [smirks]. I’m just in the process of picking what songs to sing and the order they are performed in. So,
yeah it should be really fun.
You’re not giving much away! What can you reveal about the music video for your new single?
Er, well it’s really crazy of course. My original idea has changed quite a lot though. I suppose when you’re surrounded by so
many amazing people different ideas are developing every day! The main person who has influenced my music video is
Crosby. He’s great! He reminds me what’s realistic to include in my music videos as I tend to go slightly off the rails
[laughs].
What are your plans for the year ahead?
I’m not much of a planner. I just like to go with the flow, but I suppose I’d like to be a bit more organised this year and
attend a few big events [smirks]. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
Any tricks you could share with us?
No [laughs]. I’m excited to WOW my fans.
So, do you get nervous before a performance?
Er, yes. I think it’s normal to feel some kind of anxiety before a performance. I remember when I was touring in
Manchester a few years back and the whole day I was worrying about the choreography because it was really tough! When
I got out on stage, I’d worked myself up so much; I completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing! Since then, I try to
always stay as calm as possible.
Is that advice you would give to other people who would like a career in this industry?
Yes, defiantly. You can’t reach your full potential if you’re suffering from major anxiety!
I can see you’ve changed your appearance quite a lot. How did that happen?
I went to see a catwalk show when I was in Miami and I loved the girl’s hairstyles! Their hair was tied back really tight in a
high pony tail so as soon as I got back to my hotel room I tried it out [laughs] and I loved it!
How have you been preparing yourself for the tour?
Well I’ve been working out a lot. After my break off I’ve become really unfit! [Laughs]. I try to go to the gym every day to
build fitness and lose a bit of weight. I’m getting chubby!
You’re figure is lovely! How much do you weigh now?
Er, well [laughs]. I weigh 110 pounds now.
Do you diet?
Yes, but not drastically I just eat healthy and try to lay off the take outs. I make smoothies quite a lot!
Just to wrap it up, describe yourself in three words...
Misunderstood, bold and loud.
