Michael Jordan Essay examples
Michael Jeffrey Jordan, third son of Delores and James Jordan, was born on February 17th 1963 in Brooklyn, NY. As a child Michael was not a very
focused individual. This all changed after moving from Brooklyn to Wilmington N.C.. Michael began attending Emsley A. Laney High School. He
became a B + student and excelled as an athlete in football, basketball, and baseball.
In the fall of his sophomore year at Laney High school 5 foot 9 Michael was cut from the varsity basketball team. Instead of MJ the coach elected to
go with height instead of quickness. From the beginning of the season where he was cut, Michael grew 5 inches before the beginning of the next year.

This year was also what Jordan called a "turning point in his career". 1982 NCAA Championship Jordan found himself with the ball and seconds left
on the clock. Jordan hit the game winning shot against the Georgetown Hoyas. Although Jordan wasn't the best player on the team he never let that
bother him. Jordan broke out to a huge season his junior year when he won both the Wooden and Naismith College player of the year awards, and
also helped the USA Olympic team capture gold in the 1984. Jordan never played his senior season at UNC. Jordan went on to enter the NBA draft.
Michael was selected 3rd overall in the 1984 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. Again although Jordan wasn't selected first overall he did not let that
get in the way. Jordan started like a fire cracker and never let up. Averaging 28.2 points per game as a rookie along with 2.4 steals, 6.5 rebounds, and
5.9 assists, Jordan went on to win rookie of the year, and to start in the All–Star game.
The next season would be Jordan's worst. Three games into the fresh season Jordan went down with a broken foot. He was sidelined sixty four games,
and finally returned in mid–March. In the 18 games Jordan played he posted career lows in stats. In 1986–1987 Jordan began a trend of consecutive
scoring titles that stretched over seven seasons until his surprise retirement in 1993. He scored a career–high 37.1 points per game, and

Baseball Is The Most Popular Sports Essay
It is 2011, bottom of the 9th inning with 1 ball and 2 strikes, 2 outs and the Rangers are 1 strike, 1 out, and just 1 win from a World Series
Championship, but then out of nowhere, "TRIPLE, TRIPLE." David Freese had that triple and it scored 2 runs and then he actually 2 innings later
won the game with a walk off home run. That is just one thing that just makes baseball noticed and so popular. It just shows anything can happen at
any time. Everyone deserves to know how popular the sport of baseball is and that if they ever need to do or watch something, baseball is always
right there and the way to go since it's season is almost year round. Baseball is the most popular sport because it is extremely watched with all of the
people that watch every season, fans just love to talk about it and don't ever stop, and it has some of the biggest events of the year.
Baseball is extremely watched with all of the people that come to games each season and rightfully so. Baseball has the most attendance per season
of any of the top 4 sports with attendance. "It has 74,859,268 people come to their games every year while the other sports like the next one NHL had

Russel Westbrook Research Paper
Russell Westbrook is one of the most exciting players to watch as he electrifies the building with his ferocious dunks. After being left by Kevin
Durant, Westbrook has been breaking all kinds of records and leading the Thunder to the playoffs. Next time you see number zero on your T.V
screen, grab your popcorn and take a seat, because it's showtime! (Jenkins) Durant entered the league a year before Westbrook did. They started
their careers together and eventually became one of the most dynamic duos in the league. In 2012 they led their team to the NBA Finals against the
Miami Heat but were blown out in five games. A union that lasted over eight years was finally over, Durant had a new home and was off to a new
journey. Westbrook's rampage began after hearing he signed with the Warriors. Westbrook was in disbelief, of all things Durant was a Warrior. He had

Westbrook had previously tied the fifty–five year old record for most triple doubles in a single season on April 4 against Milwaukee. Then on April 10,
at Denver, Westbrook was finally able to accomplish what everyone was hoping he did. He broke Oscar Robertson's fifty–five year old record. Not
only did he do that, but he also scored the game winning shot! In a close game he put up a thirty foot shot and ended the game 106–105 (Anderson).
There was no better way to end the season. Next up is the playoffs. The Thunder are facing off against the Rockets in the first round. Both teams
superstars are MVP candidates this year and have been the center of attention. James Harden and Russell Westbrook are former teammates, and this
series might just be the most interesting one of the playoffs. Although, his team isn't very strong due to two of their most important players leaving,

Russell Westbrook was born on November 12, 1988, in Long Beach, California. Westbrook grew up loving the game of basketball from his dad who
was really big on the sport. Russell's dad was a playground star and spent countless hours teaching his son the sport. Russell practiced drills everyday
because his dad wanted him to become a basketball star. Aside from basketball Russell's mom made him really focus on academics which set Russell
up for becoming an honor student.
During high school Westbrook was only 5'8" tall, so not many colleges wanted him since he had such a little frame. Russell was starting in high school

In Westbrooks first year in the nba he recorded very good numbers averaging fifteen points per game with plenty of assists and rebounds to go along
with them. Another achievement for Russell was making NBA all rookie first team. By Westbrooks third season he could officially be called a star in
the nba leading his team to the 2011 western conference finals. Although Westbrook averaged quite a bit of points against the miami heat in this series
it was no match for the heat's super team. Later on after the playoffs Westbrook played for the USA men's basketball team and won his first olympic
gold medal.
During the 2013 playoffs Russell suffered a career threatening injury when he tore his meniscus. Westbrook would end up sitting out most of the regular

Lebron James: The Best Basketball Player
The greats in the game of basketball are a hard thing to argue. The best today is easy to tell; they are the players that stand out game by game. They
have distinguishable traits that make them the greats of today. Some of those traits can be found in their per 36 Minutes stats. Some players don't
play as much as other players, that is why they have made the per 36 minutes stats. Some players play 42 out of 48 minutes; however, some only
play 30 out of 48. The per 36 minutes stats have been made to even out the playing field to see how well a player would play if they played only 36
minutes. Also, some traits that make players stand out is their performance. Some players today at the guard position do things that some centers can't

LeBron James is, hands down, the best player to play in the last 10 years. He has averaged 30 points per game, twice in his career. Hitting thirty
points per game in your career is a huge milestone only achieved by the greats, which he has done twice. Also he is ranked eleventh in all time scoring
with 26,833 points (Statista, 2016). Also LeBron James is an amazing rebounder, he has 7,067 Rebounds (Basketball–Reference, 2016). For
comparison, there is Ben Wallace one of the greatest rebounders of all time. He has in his 9 seasons with the Pistons 7,264 rebounds. On top of all
that, LeBron James is also a great assister. LeBron James on average for all of his seasons has 6.9 assists per game. For a small forward that is
great. He is a threat on ball by attacking the rim, and shooting. That's not all, he can also dish it out to a good shooter in which they can score. On
top of all of that he can get into peoples heads. Most of the greats were also great trash talkers. They do this because if they can make their opponent
mad, then they can get them to react to their trash talking. Their reaction would be with forced play. And with making them play forced they are
essentially out of the game. This is a great trait of

Youth Baseball Narrative Essay
I first started playing youth baseball back in 2008. I had a passion for it since I was a very young boy. I used to sit at home on my PlayStation 2 playing
MLB the show. My baseball idols are Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, Jackie Robinson, Sammy Sosa, and Alfonso Soriano. I used to play catch all the time
with my cousin Tristan. As we got older I was able to join abaseball team with Tristan, and we made it onto the same team. The team was called
Optic. What made Optic the best was our pitching, to be honest my pitching. We were the best team in our league; we only ever lost to one team– the
Bulldogs. They were the undefeated team in our league.
Down goes the pitch, moving at lighting speed! STRIKE! As the batter steps up for his second plate appearance, he has three balls and two strikes.

Lebron James: The Greatest NBA Player
One reason why LeBron James is the greatest NBA player ever is because he got a lot of recognition from the media and the NBA when he played in
High School. According to BallisLife, LeBron James had his game televised by ESPN by his senior year. ESPN is a well–known sports television
channel that analyzes sports games such as basketball, football, etc. To be featured on ESPN is not only an accomplishment, but it acts as recognition
that sports teams are looking for when they recruit players. Although only one of his games was televised, having ESPN televise it in the first place is
amazing. Another example of this is also seen in BallisLife, where LeBron James is said to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated which is a magazine

For example, according to CBSsports, one of LeBron's accomplishments was being selected as first pick in the 2003 NBA draft. Being chosen as first
pick goes to show that you exceeded the standards set by High Schools and colleges, and you performed well in your young years. Many might say
that Kobe was also a first pick in the draft, what makes him so much different from LeBron? Well, LeBron was getting more recognition because of
the way he played, therefore he performed better which is what makes him special. Another example of his accomplishments is winning rookie of
the year in 2004 because of his averaging of 7.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 2.2 steals a game. Rookie of the year is exactly as it sounds. A player
does well enough in their rookie year and then gets nominated and voted for much later. Coming into the NBA and playing with people that have
been there for years, and then performing well against them is definitely something to boast about. In my final example which is also from
CBSsports, scoring 10,000 to 20,000 points and being the youngest to do it is listed as another one of LeBron's accomplishments. Most people don't
really care about the points a player scores, but if you think about it this way, LeBron James is almost always carrying his team and this is easily seen
by the number of points he scores. He scored around 25–30 points a game and soon he reached a point where some really good NBA players could not

that LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan due to LeBron had hit 30,000 career points at 33 years old, LeBron was a more team player than
Michael, despite Michael had arguably the greatest coach of all time, Phil Jackson. LeBron was a 6'8" small forward (who would eventually play all

What Obstacles Did Jackie Robinson Face
In 1947, Jackie Robinson was called up to the major leagues by the Dodgers. On April 15, 1947, Robinson made his debut in the major league at
Ebbets Field. There was a crowd of 26,623 spectators, and more than 14,000 of those spectators were Black. Robinson had officially broken the color
line. He had become the first African American to play in theMajor League Baseball in the modern era. The last time that the color line was openly
broken in Major League Baseball was in 1880. This was a huge deal. African American fans would start attending Dodger games just to see Jackie
play. As amazing as it was to finally have an African American playing in Major League Baseball, there was a lot of racial criticism that came along
with it. Jackie Robinson ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

three other black players that season. In the 1949 season, Jackson improved his batting average from .296 to .342. He received the Silver Bat
Award for his superb batting average. Jackie stole 37 bases, had 122 runs, and was second in the league for doubles and triples. He had improved
tremendously in the span of one year. That season he earned the Most Valuable Player Award for the National League. In addition to his 1949 MVP

The Management Game At Coventry University
1.Introduction
This paper mainly focuses on what I experienced and obtained from the Coventry Management Game took place at Coventry University. The
management game provided participants with a variety of opportunities to work as a group with diversity. Accordingly, they were aware of the
importance of internationalisation, positive and negative sides of working at the internationally diverse team. Throughout this module, they have
learned what are important to do job–hunting such as how to create good CV, how to take job interviews etc. in this report, those what we learned and
experienced are explained in more depth dividing into some categories.

Indeed, they kept having dialogues with me not only about tasks and assignments but also a variety of topics, which cultivated our international outlook
and an ability to work with a diverse team.
In terms of point 4, Hawkins argued in his statistics book about immigration in the UK that "immigration has grown faster than emigration, leading
to an increase in net migration from an annual average of 37,000 in the period 1991 to 1995 to an annual average of 249,000 in the period 2011 to
2015". (House of Commons 2017) This means more and more people from outside of the UK have been coming into the UK in the past years, and it
is easy to find people from different background in the workplace in this country. Thus, people living in the UK should be able to adapt the
internationalised society. 3.Which management game I attended and why?
I have attended the Coventry Management Game since the first Management Game in Groningen was full though I had hoped to go and join it in. My
first thought was Groningen one provided me more international environment as they got participants from a variety of universities around Europe,
however, Coventry one gave me an opportunity to know more about my classmates who had not had anything to do with before and it was actually
better than I expected. As I am to some extent shy and not good at making new friends, this management game was a fantastic opportunity in that
perspective as well/ Therefore, I am overall

Christopher Matthewson Research Paper
Christopher Matthewson also known as "Big Six", "the Christian gentlemen", "Matty", and "Gentleman's Hurler" played Major League Baseball and
was a right handed pitcher and played seventeen seasons with the New York Giants. He was voted the most dominant pitcher in the history of baseball
and is ranked in the top ten in many key pitching groups, including wins, shutouts, and ERA, if taking 19th century pitchers statistics into account.
Otherwise Matthewson and Walter Johnson would hold the distinction of being the only two pitchers placed in the top ten in both career wins and

After his season with Taunton he went to play with the Norfolk team from the Virginia North Carolina League. He ended that season with a twenty
and two record. He was still playing for Bucknell during this time period. Around July of that year, the New York Giants bought his contract form
Norfolk for 1,500 dollars. In the middle of July and September 1900 Matthewson showed in six games for the Giants. He started one of those
games and come up with a zero and three record. He was not happy with the way he played at all, and the giants returned him back to Norfolk and
made him give them there money back form the contract. Later in the same month the Cincinnati Reds grabbed Mathewson off the Norfolk roster.
On December 15, the Reds gave Matthewson back to the Giants to pick up Amos Rusie. During the offseason for baseball Mathewson played
football for Keystone College from 1895 to 1897. He became pro and played as fullback for the Pittsburgh Stars, and it was in the very first
National Football League. All of a sudden he disappeared from the team in the middle of the season in 1902. Some Historians thought the Giants got
word that their all star pitchers life was at risk and was risking his baseball career for the Stars and demanded him to stop playing football, while some
others thought that the Stars coach Willis Richardson, kicked Matthewson out because he felt that way, since the fullbacks punting skills weren't really
used that often, so coach Willis decided to replace Matthewson with a local player, Shirley

Hank Aaron is most commonly known for beating Babe Ruth's home run record of 714. He overcame racism and became one of the best players to
ever play the game of baseball. He is a very rare, cross hitting Right Fielder. If you are a left handed hitter, you will have your left hand on the top of
the bat handle and the right on the bottom. For righties it is vice–versa. But Hank was different. He was a lefty but he had his right hand on top and it

Similarities Between Star Wars And Star Wars
Star Wars vs. Star Trek Star Wars and Star Trek, two movie titles often confused by non
–fans because the first word of both titles is 'Star'. But do not be
confused because the two are extremely different in all sorts of ways. One of them is fantasy, the other sci–fi. One is full of creatures and heroes and
villains and spaceships and power and darkness, the other filled with humans and aliens who fly ships together in primary colored uniforms. In other
words, one is clearly better than the other. If you're asking yourself which is which, let me make it a bit easier for you. Star Wars is the better of the two.
Star Wars is worth more, the Star Wars video games put the Star Trek ones to shame, Star Wars has better film making and better special effects, the
Star Wars antagonist (The Empire) is far scarier than any Star Trek villain, and the list goes on. Still don't agree with me? That's okay, keep reading
and you'll see how much you are wrong.
The dollar value of the two franchises says a lot of what fans and billionaire companies think of the two. The Star Trek franchise with all of its
movies and tv shows approximates to about $3.5 billion. Star Wars not only beats that value, it nearly triples it. In 2012, Disney bought the rights to
the Lucasfilm franchise from Star Wars creator George Lucas for $4.05 billion. Since then Disney has used those rights to produce four new Star
Wars movies (so far that we know). In 2015, Disney released Episode 7 of the Star

Best NBA Team Essay
Best NBA team?
What NBA team is the best to ever play the sport, is it the 95–96 Bulls, or maybe the 86–87 lakers, maybe even the 70–71 Bucks, how about the 85–86
Celtics. Well first off let's look at some of the facts. Each of those teams won the NBA championship that year. Also all four of those teams had a 60+
win season. So let's take a look at some of the players that played on the teams.
First of the 95–96 bulls, they had the greatest of all time, Micheal Jordan. He was the bug star for the bulls and he was the key point for the bulls
getting six championships and also getting a 72–10 season which would be the best record for 20 years. Then you had Scottie Pippen who was Jordan's
sidekick almost, he would get a lot of rebounds, he was an excellent stealer, and he could dunk the ball like it was nothing. Then you have Dennis
Rodman, he is number two on the all time best rebounders list, that's very impressive for a man who is 6'7. Rodman wasn't the best offensive player
but his defense stunned the crowd.
Next you have the 86–87 Lakers. Being a 6'9 point guard this man was a sight you wanted to see. Magic Johnson would put on a show for the crowd
every game he played, he could rebound, he could steal, he could score, he could block, he could do everything you imagined. Up next you have one

Before we determine if fantasy sports are luck or skills based let's analyze the set up. First, you deposit a minimum of $25 and play contests. Before
you make your draft of an eight player team you will be given a $60,000 salary cap. This will restrict you from picking eight of the highest players
like Russell Westbrook and James harden who cost upwards of $12,000 each, living you with players that have average cost of $4000 each. Aplayer
like James Harden usually consistently drops 60 fantasy points a night while a player that costs $3000 will not even play and a player that costs $5,000
averages about 20 fantasy points but will give you 30 and 10 the next night, thus not dependable. In addition, all of this information is available once ...

entries so the winner could be first though fifteen with the same lineup. On average while playing cash games you usually expect to double your entry
with a decent lineup. Cash games that hand out millions of dollars are more luck than skill because you're competing against thousands of people but

field wall. The rookie leads the American League in all three triple crown categories (21 home runs, 47 RBI, .344 BA), while also leading the AL with
54 runs scored and 38 walks with a ridiculous .450 on base percentage.
The Yankees lead all of MLB with a +115 run differential (Houston is second at +98), and their offense is first in home runs (102), runs scored (353),
RBI (335), slugging percentage (.476), on base percentage (.351) and OPS (.827), despite playing four less games than the Astros. New York is also
sixth in walks (237).
As impressive as the Yankees offense has been, it should get even better with the return of first baseman Greg Bird from a lengthy stint on the DL and
No. 1 prospect, 20 year–old Gleyber Torres, pushing for a promotion from Triple A to take over third base from veteran Chase Headley, who is one of
the few weak links in the Yankees lineup.
This season, the Yankees starting pitching has been a pleasant surprise as well with youngsters Luis Severino (5–2) and Jordan Montgomery (4–4)
developing rapidly,

Giannis Antetokounmpo Character Traits
All about Giannis Antetokounmpo The name Antetokounmpo has thirteen letters and six vowels. This name is hard for many people to
pronounce. Do you know where the The Greek Freak got his name? Well, he got his name from Greece since that's his home country. Childhood
Giannis Antetokounmpo was born on December 6, 1994 in Sepolia, Athens. His parents came from Nigeria to Greece because they wanted a
better life. He has two older brothers, Francis and Thanasis, and two younger brothers, Kostas and Alexis. Giannis originally lived in Athens and
later moved to Sepolia, Greece. He was very poor and often worried about being deported back to Nigeria. He didn't go outside to play because he was
scared. In the 60 minutes interview he said that "he helped his family by selling sunglasses and watches for money." His dad was a football player and

From 2009 to 2012 he played, and sometimes scored 50 points in a game. This interested other coaches in Europe. During the 2012–13 season Giannis
played Zaragoza Spanish basketball team. According to The Famous People website "his stats were 9.5 points, 1 block, 1.4 assists, and 5
rebounds in every game." In 2013 he was selected to be on the Greek All Star Team. Coach's from the US were coming over to look at him. Giannis
was drafted on April 28, 2013 for the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis didn't know anything when he came to America. He didn't even own a suit. His first
tweet was for a smoothie. He was the top NBA Rookie for the 2013 –14 season. His stats were 6.8 points per game and 61 blocks throughout the
season. On April 1st, 2016 he got his 5th triple double. In 2016 he got a four year extension contract for 100 million dollars for the Milwaukee
Bucks. A year later he played in the 2017 All Star Game. On April 10th, 2017 he matched Kareem Abdul Jabbar's record of three triple doubles.
Giannis now lives in a double bedroom with his mom, brother and his

The Chicago Cubs: A Popular Regime
The Chicago Cubs are not a popular franchise out here in California, mostly because the team is located all the way across the country. I chose the
Cubs for a few reasons. One is the team has a long history dating way back to 1876. The main reason I chose the Cubs is because growing up I
because slightly familiar with the team. My mom is from Chicago and moved here after she graduated high school. My aunt is a diehard Cubs fan and
my mom is still a fan out here in the Bay Area.
The Chicago Cubs are one of the most iconic and historic teams in MLB history. They play in one of the oldest stadium in the league, and are the only
team to not have a jumbo tron. The franchise was established in 1876 as the Chicago White Stockings with manager Al ... Show more content on

It all started when the owner of the Billy Goat Tavern, William "Billy" Sianis, was kicked out of a game in the 1945 World Series. The series was
played between the Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers; this was the Cubs last World Series appearance till this day. Billy Sianis attended game
four of the series with his pet goat named Murphy. Late in the game the two were asked to leave the game by Cubs' owner, P.K. Wrigley. The way the
story goes, Wrigley's reason was the goat smelled and he had Billy and Murphy escorted out of the park. Angered by all of this, Sianis left the park and
on his way out he cursed the Cubs by exclaiming, "The Cubs aint gonna win no more. The Cubs will never win a World Series so long as the goat is
not allowed in Wrigley Field". Diehard fans believe Billy Sianis cursed their beloved Cubs and he is the reason they have not been able to win a World
Series since. This became popularly known as The Curse of the Billy

Lebron James: The Best Basketball Player
Lebron James famously said"You have to be able to accept failure to get better" (Brainy quote.com 1). Coming from the king of basketball he is
saying to get better it's going to take a couple of times to fail. Lebron James never went to college he came straight from high school into the NBA.
Lebron was the first pick in the draft at the age of 19. He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers for a while then he went to the Miami Heat the back to the
Cavaliers. He won his first ring in 2012 at Miami. Lebron James is the best basketball player of all time because he set many records as a rookie, he is
an all around player, and he passed up Michael Jordan who was the best.
First of all, Lebron is the best because he set many records as a rookie. Lynch ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lynch stated "Jordan has:Six championships, 10 time NBA scoring champion, never lost in the finals, five NBA MVPs, six NBA Finals MVP
Awards, two Olympic gold medals and multiple game winning shots.LeBron has: three NBA championships, an NBA scoring title, Lost five
times in the finals, four NBA MVP Awards, three NBA Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals, and Multiple clutch shots" ( Lynch 1).
Lebron is still the greatest because he passed up majority of Michael Jordan's records. Lebron has a lot of things that he can do better than Michael
Jordan for instance defence. LeBron James will never surpass Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player in NBA history not after this
slaughter at the hands of the Golden State Warriors. They were blown out in the last NBA finals the record was the Cavs winning one game to the
Warriors 4 that has never happened to Jordan because he has never lost one. Lebron James is still the best of all time because he has 3 rookie
records that nobody has broke and they have been there for 15 years and nobody has still broke them. Lebron is not the best he has not
accomplished the most Michael Jordan did by not losing the NBA finals when he made it. They call Jordan the goat which means the person who
has accomplished the most and that is Jordan (Lynch 1). No matter what anyone says Lebron is the goat Jordan had all of those extra weapons on his
team Pippen, Grant, Kerr, Rodman etc Lebron had himself he made his other teammates better so they could win the finals. This is why Lebron is not

As a child Michael was not a very focused individual. This all changed after moving from Brooklyn to Wilmington N.C.. Michael began attending Emsley A. Laney High School. He became a B + student and excelled as an athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. In the fall of his sophomore year at Laney High school 5 foot 9 Michael was cut from the varsity basketball team. Instead of MJ the coach elected to go with height instead of quickness. From the beginning of the season where he was cut, Michael grew 5 inches before the beginning of the next year. The next two varsity years Jordan averaged 25 points per game, and was the ... This year was also what Jordan called a "turning point in his career". 1982 NCAA Championship Jordan found himself with the ball and seconds left on the clock. Jordan hit the game winning shot against the Georgetown Hoyas. Although Jordan wasn't the best player on the team he never let that bother him. Jordan broke out to a huge season his junior year when he won both the Wooden and Naismith College player of the year awards, and also helped the USA Olympic team capture gold in the 1984. Jordan never played his senior season at UNC. Jordan went on to enter the NBA draft. Michael was selected 3rd overall in the 1984 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. Again although Jordan wasn't selected first overall he did not let that get in the way. Jordan started like a fire cracker and never let up. Averaging 28.2 points per game as a rookie along with 2.4 steals, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists, Jordan went on to win rookie of the year, and to start in the All–Star game. The next season would be Jordan's worst. Three games into the fresh season Jordan went down with a broken foot. He was sidelined sixty four games, and finally returned in mid–March. In the 18 games Jordan played he posted career lows in stats. In 1986–1987 Jordan began a trend of consecutive scoring titles that stretched over seven seasons until his surprise retirement in 1993. Another example of his accomplishments is winning rookie of the year in 2004 because of his averaging of 7.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 2.2 steals a game. Rookie of the year is exactly as it sounds. In 2012, Disney bought the rights to the Lucasfilm franchise from Star Wars creator George Lucas for $4.05 billion.
