2. The goal of industrial policy
Massive employment through industrialization
In order to implement the overall development vision of the government, the
contribution of the industrial sector to the existing national income should be
increased from 29 percent to 35 percent and the contribution of the labor
force from 16 percent to 25 percent by 2021.
To play a role in inclusive growth by increasing quality and income generating
employment through industrialization.

14. Implementation, monitoring and review
The industrial policy has highlighted the potential environment for industrial
development following the existing laws and policies. The concerned government
agencies will review their existing laws and regulations.
All government agencies will follow the National Industrial Policy 2018.
A time bound action plan will be adopted for proper implementation of National
Industrial Policy 2018. That plan
The concerned Ministries, Departments, Offices, Agencies and Private Sector
Institutions / Organizations will provide overall assistance to the Ministry of
Industries in the implementation. The time bound action plan can be changed and
expanded as required.
To undertake moderate and final assessment activities have to review the overall
contribution of this industrial policy to the national economy
