April 11, 2015- At a staff Gala Dinner held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Joaquim Gonsalves the HRD
Manager had a presentation for all Bassaka Air staff and highlighted the strategic direction of the
company.
He delivered a presentation where the vision mission and values of the company where clearly set out,
giving the staff a clear understanding of requirements in their individual role!
Mr. Joaquim Gonsalves also released the Staff Handbook at the event.

2. He has been in charge of setting up the HR Department for this new airline that has in a short span of
time, captured the attention of aviation experts and industry professionals.
He has been credited with successfully not only deploying policies and procedures but also working
together with the Labour Department in meeting requirements for effective Human Resource Practice.
As a CIPD professional and with over 20 years aviation experience, Joaquim has taken up this new
challenge after a successfully career in Qatar Airways!
