disciplines like Oil & gas fields, Roads & Bridges, Structures & Builders, Environmental

JOB DESCRIPTION
Working as Sr.Equipment Engineer since July 2000 in the projects in Sultanate of
Oman which includes Jabal Akthar Road,Buraimi STP &Network,Suwaiq water
pipeline network ,Sohar Fertilizer , Kasab Harbour , Off plot Delivery Service Contract
of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), A’Seeb Waste Water Network Project (Haya)
and Barka reservoir .
MAIN RESPOSBILITIES
• Over all In charge of Plant Department in the project for achievement of mission of
Plant Dept.
• Planning and execution of maintenance activities in coordination with project and Plant
workshop with minimum downtime.
• Organize, monitor, and execute routine & preventive maintenance of vehicle/ equipment,
their monthly inspection
2. • Attending all running repairs & scheduled repairs.
• Stocking of all spares for periodic/ preventive/ scheduled maintenances & fast moving
spares.
• Controlling and monitoring of overall functioning of site level store and liaison with
central Auto store for arranging spares through main dealer and local dealer
• Ensuring of all vehicles/ equipments meet the quality, technical & safety specifications
of the company,clients,country & manufactures and arranging renewal & registration
of statutory certificates and legal documents.
• Planning & deployment of workshop staffs for the best use of their ability on day to day
basis. Training and induction of newly employed people and nationals.
• Assisting Project manager in the deployment of veh / eqpt to site for minimizing idling of
the same
• Submit and forward the reports and returns to all concerned, in time.
• Local administration and welfare of all personnel reporting in close liaison with project
and HO.
• Reporting to Sr.Manager (Equipment) functionally and to Project Manager
administratively.
• Maintain and ensure the workshop activities and all the veh/eqpt as per the company
quality and HSE procedures and standards.
• Arranges for periodic Inspection, Load testing and certification for company lifting
equipment’s by 3rd party inspection agencies as per Oman laws.

India, from September 1999 to July 2000.
