Due to recent heavy downpour, the LRT service will not be available from
Masjid Jamek station up to KLCC station. The LRT service to and from this
route will not be accessible from 10 August onwards. Commuters are
advised to opt for other means of transportation during this period.
The LRT will recommence the service to Masjid Jamek station on 13 August
and KLCC station on 14 August.

Dear Hank,
How have you been? What’s the weather like in southern part of the world? I am very
excited that you are visiting my country. There are plenty of interesting places to visit
and the food is divine. You should try our rojak. It is a type of fruit and vegetables salad
dish. You can have eggs and squids as additional topping. Rojak is served with spicy
peanut sauce.
There’s also nasi lemak. It has been name unofficial national dish because of its
popularity. Nasi lemak simply means ‘rice in cream’. It is served with cucumbers, fried
anchovies, boiled eggs, peanut and spicy gravy. You must try this dish!
Roti canai is one of the most popular local food. You can find this flat bread almost
anywhere. You must see the way they make the bread. It’s amazing!
Another must try is sat ay. It is chunks of bite-sized meat on bamboo skewers grilled over
the charcoal fire. Sat ayis eaten with spicy peanut sauce and cucumbers.
There are many more local cuisines that you should try such as banana fritters,
commonly known as pisang goreng, prawn noodles, Chinese fried noodles and many
others.
