I wish vendors would stop shipping obsolete
software. Postfix 2.1 is almost finished, and
they still ship Postfix 1.1.

Don't ask me to have the Postfix create multiple queue files per
input transaction, one per recipient class. It's either not robust
or it' incredibly expensive.

hashing is probably sufficient. The exact
number depends on your hardware and on
your file system implementation.
Too many levels will actually slow Postfix
On a faster LAN, sending a 1-bit query takes
as long as sending a 1000 bit query.
Faster LANs don't make bits go faster. They
make bits travel more closely together, so
that more bits arrive per unit time.
