4. National IPv6 Action Plan in Vietnam
•Preparation Stage (2011 – 2012):
–Make the assessment of the network; forming the national IPv6 test network; implementation of IPv6 test and performed extensive training of human resources
–Vietnamese ISPs shall issue their own IPv6 action plan, follow on National plan on IPv6.
•Implementation Phase (2013 – 2015):
–Transition from IPv4 networks to simultaneously support IPv4 and IPv6; forming national IPv6 network infrastructure; and provide testing IPv6 services to end users.
•Accomplishment Phase (2016 - to 2019):
–Ensure the stable operation of Internet in Vietnam with IPv6- based technology.

5. National IPv6 Master Plan Adjustment
•3 phases do not be changed.
•IPv6 deployment promotion for not only any IT enterprises, ISPs but also software enterprises, equipment manufacturing enterprises, registrars, content service providers and so on.

•43 local ISP and CP participated (3 ISPs with full 16 criteria ready: VNPT, VIETTEL, NETNAM; 6 others with 10/16 criteria ready
•VNNIC registry system.
– IPMS (IP management system).
– DMS (Domain management system).
•Monitoring on the VNNIC’s network: National DNS, VNIX (Vietnam National Internet Exchange).
•Collection of information from other organizations. (ISPs, Enterprises…)

–Netnam: over 20000 tunnel has been created
•DNS servers: Over 90 servers (dual stack)
- AAAA query: 17.6%, - DNS query traffic through VNIX: max is over 3Mb, avg: 1.5Mb

- 2014 – Preparation: do project, built Lab, making test specification and approved lab. - 2015-2019: Launch and certification.
The IPv6 Forum (http://www.ipv6forum.com) IPv6 Ready Logo Program is a conformance and interoperability testing program intended to increase user confidence by demonstrating that IPv6 is available now and is ready to be used.
VNNIC IPv6 Test & Certification Lab will certify for Internet products, service, ISP, website and other application
