• CRISP proposal for the stewardship transition of the IANA
functions (from US Government to Internet community):
– Service Level Agreement (SLA) between RIRs and ICANN
– Review Committee to advise and assist NRO EC in its review of the
services provided by ICANN/PTI to the numbers community under
the SLA
• Main function is to report any concerns regarding ICANN’s
performance of services under the SLA (including observed
failures or near-failures)

• Must submit at least one report annually to the NRO EC
(after seeking feedback from the numbers community)
• Must conduct its activities in open and transparent manner,
and through a public mailing list

• Review Committee comprises 15 members:
– 2 community appointees from each RIR region
– 1 RIR staff from the region
• Each RIR will:
– appoint its own Review Committee members by its own method
– determine the term of appointment
• APNIC region – APNIC EC decided that for 2017, the two
community appointees to the Review Committee will be the
two elected NRO NC (ASO AC) members
