3. Camera movement Panning shots of a suburban area. You see big suburban houses and trees that surround the houses. It creates an affect of being in a moving car.
4. Framing shot There is a close up of a car that has been hit by a heavy object through the back window. A mid shot of two young boys creeping into a house. Close up of a vinyl playing. Close up of a small jewellery box with rose petals around it. Another close up of a bloody knife, blood splatter on the walls and a rifle on a table.
5. Mise en scene It is set in a suburban area. It is all natural light, as it is all in daylight. The only characters are two mall boys coming into a house that looks like a murder crime scene. The remains of the violent objects may suggest that something sisnister has occured.
6. Editing directions The editing is very fast paced. There are many jump cuts as you move from one scene to another with no immediate link to one another. The editing is made faster after every shot, there are flashes of lights that seem to confuse the viewer.
7. Actors positioning The only actors in the scene are two boys that are creeping into a house.
8. narrative It is unclear who the villain or hero is. There are no principle characters in the story so far. The story seems to be told backwards as the murder has already occurred but you are unaware of the details. The affect brings ambiguity and leaves the viewer in suspense. Questions you are left with Why were these people killed? Who killed them? Was there a motive for their murders? Who are the two boys at the begining?
