Grievance
1. STEP 1 - ORAL DISCUSSION WITH THE IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
-Grievant presenthisoral or written grievance to his immediate
supervisor, who shall within3 working days from the date of
presentation inform the parties orally of his action. (Provide however,
that where the object of the grievance is the immediate supervisor , the
aggrieved party may bring the grievance to the nexthigher supervisor)
STEP 2 – APPEAL IN WRITING TO THE NEXT HIGH SUPERVISOR
-ifthe aggrievedparty is not satisfiedwith the verbal discussion,he may submit
her grievance in writingwithin 5 working days to the next higher supervisorwho
shall render hisdecisionin writingwithin 5 working days from receiptof the
grievance.
STEP 3 – ELEVATION OF THE DECISION OF THE NEXT HIGHER
SUPERVISOR TO THE SCHOOL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
-Within5 working days from receiptof the decisionofthe nexthighersupervisor,
the aggrieved party may elevate the same to the School Grievance Committee
who shall conduct an investigationwithin10 working days from receiptof the
grievance and render decisionwithin5 working days after the investigation.
STEP 4 - APPEAL TO DISTRICT GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
-Within5 days from receiptof the Decisionof the School Grievance
Committee,the aggrievedparty may elevate the grievancesto the District Grievance
Committee whomay conduct investigation within10 workingdays from receiptof
grievanceand render a decisionwithin5 working days after the investigation.The
District Grievance Committee shall alsohave original jurisdiction over grievance of
employeesinthe District that where not orally resolved.

jurisdictionovergrievancesof employeesinthe Division that where not orally resolved.
SPEP 6 - APPEAL TO REGIONAL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE

Within5 days from receiptof the Decisionof Division Grievance Committee, the
aggrieve party may elevate thegrievance tothe Regional Grievance Committee who
may conduct investigationwithin10 working days from receipt of the grievance
and render a decisionwithin5 working days after the investigation.TheRegional
Grievance Committee shall alsohave original jurisdictionover grievance of
employeesinthe Regional Office that were not orally resolved.
SPEP 7 - APPEAL TOTHE DEPARTMENT GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE

Within5 working days from receipt ofthe decisionofRegional Grievance
Committee,the aggrievedparty may elevate the grievance to the Department
Grievance Committee whomay conduct investigationwithin10 working days
after the investigation,the DepartmentGrievance Committee shall have original
jurisdictionovergrievance ofthe differentbureaus/service/centersandoffice in
Central Office district that were not orally resolved.
