This document contains the opinions of a student named Andrew Gubanyi on various political and social issues. It includes views on expanding national defense, keeping jobs in America, increasing criminal penalties, improving the environment, and placing restrictions on marriage and divorce. The student advocates for stronger national security, protecting domestic jobs from outsourcing, harsher punishment for criminals, investing in the environment, and implementing tests and waiting periods for marriage and divorce.
3. The American people need to be protected. One of the
last things we need is to be attacked without notice.
That being said it is always possible so logically
speaking, and I am sure I speak for everyone when I
say expand our national defense. Go back in time all the
way to the attack on Pearl Harbor. We weren’t ready
nor were aware or what would happen. The more
defense we have the better protected we are.
4. The People’s America believes that supports
international relationships. However that being said,
one of the problems with America’s current
international relationships is that American businesses
are outsourcing to different countries to often. Our
solution is to keep international relationships for their
resources and as allies and keep jobs in America.
5. My opinion is that criminals should be punished
harsher. For starters, anyone who is without a doubt a
murderer should automatically get the death penalty.
Secondly I feel that criminals can only get by on their
first offense on a crime on something very small.
Anything more than a very small crime even on the first
offense, the criminal should be locked up.
6. I will fight to make our environment not only better but
also greener for the earth. We should always have
America looking presentable. If we become more
presentable, we will be more respected. With just a little
bit of money thrown at the environment we live in, our
nation could look a lot better.
7. I feel we should make some rules if a couple wants to
get married and if they want a divorce. First off I feel
that people who want to get married should have to
take a test about their significant other. This will show
if they really know who they are about to marry. For
the divorce situation, a couple should have to be
together for at least one year, then they could decide if
they want a divorce. I say this because there are so
many divorces that happen over a couple bad
arguments. The better option would be to have the
argument then talk about it like reasonable people.
