1. TRAILER BREAK DOWN
Firstly, reason for our trailer being in b&w is so it helps create the mystery we wish to,
as it's evidently a trailer, especially in parts where we done our best but does not look
as professional as we intend it to be, and helps to 'cover' some issues with costumes
etc.
2. SHOT Our trailer begins with long
shot of the sky with tree
branches. To this we have
1: mystic/adventurous (not
extreme) music playing in the
background so it sets the
mood.
We then have a straight cut to
SHOT the 'credits' page – 'MARS
STUDIOS' (Name chosen by us),
2: with the same music playing
continuously
‘’ Y O U A L L K N O W T H E S T O R Y O F
H A N S E L A N D G R E T E L’’
SHOT
Then another straight cut, to
Hansel & Gretel with a voice over
“ You all know the story
3: of Hansel & Gretel”
3. EV ERY STO RY
SHOT Medium close up of
Hansel & Gretel to show
4: audience their fear, so audience
can feel sympathy.

And in this scene, the fast paced
SHOT music begins to indicate
something is happening (as to
why they're running)

to this scene of Hansel
