This document provides examples and an activity to practice differentiating between the phonetic sounds /aɪ/ and /ɔɪ/. It lists example words containing each sound, such as "cry" and "pie" for /aɪ/ and "enjoy" and "oil" for /ɔɪ/. Students are instructed to look up 5 additional words for each sound in the dictionary and write them down. Finally, students are asked to write a list of words containing either /aɪ/ or /ɔɪ/ sounds in the correct columns.
