INTRODUCTION
Intermediate 2 is the fourth year at the OLS(EOI) and leads to a certificate which
is classed as B 1.2 in the European Framework of Reference, a document which
establishes a list of common evaluation standards for all European
languages. The objectives, contents and other specifications of the course can be
found at the OLS English Department website.
In plain English this means that it is a consolidation year for intermediate
students which should give you plenty of practice to start the advanced level with
greater confidence. The old system had 5 years and this one has 6. Hopefully,
more time and practice will help everybody to learn the language better.
