4. Time management during Theory Exam
1) Start with easy Que and write it completely.
2) Try to finish each Que in 25 - 30 min.
otherwise leave it.
3) Do not Write big answer OR Un-necessary
points.

6. # Importance of Labelled diagrams / Figures
1) 50 marks = Approx 20 marks for Figures
+ 5 marks Numerical
+ Approx 25 marks for theory
2) You need to do separate preparation of figures.
3) Wherever necessary, Draw simplified, technically
correct diagrams. Add more info in the diagram.
4) Approx 50% marks are allotted to diagrams.
(3m out of 6marks, 2m out of 4marks or 5marks)
5) Answer without figure will not be considered.

7. Problem /difficulty with bme Theory Exam
What is the problem ?
1) Students do not have enough writing practice.
2) Students do not have enough drawing practice of
neat labeled diagrams.
 Students have to draw diagrams for almost every
question.
3) The answer presentation is poor.

8. What is the Solution ?
 bme Subject has more number of diagrams,
(manufacturing) process, machines and concepts.
So it can not be prepared in 1 day or 1 night.
 In bme, Understanding the concept and writting it
in neat readable & presentable form is very imp.
 Assessment is done in less than 5 min.
 do enough writing practice for important topics
 do special (separate) diagram practice
 During theory exam, make it sure that no question
is left un-attended. Try to attend all the Questions.

1) See / Refer 3-4 Old Que Papers,
2) Observe Unit-wise Mark Distribution
3) Initially Plan for 70-80 % Syllabus Preparation.
4) Identify & Ignore 10-20% difficult topics.
5) Start preparation with simple topic.

like an essay.
 Give separate heading wherever applicable
 You may underline few imp words / points the
answer. Your answer must be presentable.
 Ensure effective Time Management to attempt

the questions.
