6. YANGON
Yangon(formerly known as Rangoon) is the largest city in Myanmar (formerly
Burma). A mix of British colonial architecture, modern high-rises and gilded
Buddhist pagodas define its skyline. Its famed Shwedagon Paya, a huge,
shimmering pagoda complex, draws thousands of pilgrims annually. The city's
other notable religious sites include the Botataung and Sule pagodas, both
housing Buddhist relics.

10. MANDALAY
Mandalay is a city and former royal capital in northern Myanmar
(formerly Burma) on the Irrawaddy River. In its center is the
restored Mandalay Palace from the Konbaung Dynasty,
surrounded by a moat. Mandalay Hill provides views of the city
from its summit, which is reached by covered stairway. At its
foot, the Kuthodaw Pagoda houses hundreds of Buddhist-
scripture-inscribed marble slabs.

14. LUXEMBOURG
Luxembourg is a small European country,

15. LUXEMBOURG CITY
Luxembourg is the capital of the small European nation of the same name. Built amid
deep gorges cut by the Alzette and Pétrusse rivers, it’s famed for its ruins of medieval
fortifications. The vast Bock Casemates tunnel network encompasses a dungeon, prison
and the Archaeological Crypt, considered the city’s birthplace. Along ramparts above, the
Chemin de la Corniche promenade offers dramatic viewpoints.

13th-century cloister. The Victor
Hugo Literary Museum is in a house
that hosted the writer in 1871
during his political exile from
France. A chairlift climbs above the
Our Valley for panoramic views.
Trails include the riverside Ourdall
Promenade.

Military History
The National Museum of Military History
Museum , abbreviated to MNMH, is a
national museum in Diekirch, in north-
eastern Luxembourg, that includes
amongst its exhibits military vehicles and
weaponry, a photographic archive, and
lifesize dioramas displaying military
servicemen and actions.
22. Vianden Castle
Vianden Castle, located in
Vianden in the north of
Luxembourg, is one of the largest
fortified castles west of the Rhine.
With origins dating from the 10th
century, the castle was built in the
Romanesque style from the 11th
to 14th centuries.
