Research Projects
Project Details (M. Tech.)
Project Topic : Analysis and development of protein-protein docking algorithm.
The project is being carried out in final year as a partial fulfilment of Master of Technology Degree course
at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India.
Supervisor : Dr. Shankar Prasad Kanaujia, Assistant Professor, IIT Guwahati, Assam, India.
Project Summary : Protein-protein interactions are crucial in many biological process therefore, to
analyze such process docking studies has to be carried out. My work includes modification of protein-
protein docking algorithm for better performance using well known features of protein-protein interfaces.
Project Details (M. Sc.)
Project Topic : A tool for finding restriction site on a DNA sequence.
The project was carried out in final year as a partial fulfilment of Master of Science Degree course at
Chattrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
Supervisor : Er. Dev Bukhsh Singh, Lecturer, C.S.J.M University, Kanpur, India.
Project Summary : Restriction endonucleases II are important protein molecules involved in
cleaving DNA molecules at specific site. Therefore, it is used in many experimental works concerning
recombinant DNA technology. This project involve a tool development work which is for prediction of
restriction site on DNA sequence and prediction of restriction enzyme flanking the know DNA sequence
for its isolation.
Other Projects
Summer Training
Project Topic : Book management system
Organization : Mascon Global Limited
Duration : 1 Month
Project Summary : Record of books available in library, individuals borrowing books, etc are all
important part of library management and digitization of this system helps in keeping these records
3. effectively which was the major goal of this project. Programming language used was C sharp and MS
access was used for managing database.
