2. Step one
To create the base image for our advertisement, we decided to
take a part of the middle panel of our digipak to keep some
continuity between our ancillary texts. To do this, we used the
cropping tool on the software Adobe Photoshop.
3. Step two
After this we ended up with a
portrait for our advert, we then
removed the lyrics from our
advert as we felt like we could use
the space more efficiently by
adding information that would
benefit our target audience. This
information being; tour dates, the
name of the album and the bands
website.
This then caused
us to have
multiple layers as
we had lots of
information on
our advert.
4. Step three
Once we had the basic outline of how we wanted
out advert to look it was time to add the finishing
touches. We added a new layer to our advert with
the record label’s logo on.
To make our album more appealing we also added
some reviews to make it seem like it was well
received by big companies in the music industry.
