Since its inception in 2004, Aludecor Lamination Pvt. Ltd. a Rs 250 crores enterprise
has been commanding an unshaken trust in the industry, by dint of its die-hard
commitment towards quality, innovation and customer delight. Aludecor is an end-to-
end Indian Aluminium Composite Panel manufacturer, powered by cutting edge
production facilities at Haridwar.
The entire best-in-class Aludecor product range is thus ‘Made in India’. Spread over
25000 square meters, the production units together have a production capacity of 4.8
million square meters per annum. With 11 offices across India, 8 warehouses,
formidable sales force and a 250 strong retail network covering more than 200 cities,
the company caters to top national and international brands. The company lends
customized support for designs to customers through its formidable Design Assist
department.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
WE FOLLOW 4-POINT CHECKS AT OUR FACTORY FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE:
1. Raw materials check: As soon as the raw materials come into the production units,
they undergo tests at our labs to get their properties checked, passing which they go to
the store
2. Check at the manufacturing stage: At different stages of manufacturing, tests are
done to validate if the purpose of a particular stage has been served or not. For e.g. at
the pre-treatment stage it is checked whether degreasing or deoxidizing or
chromatizing of the aluminium coil has properly taken place or not. For each sq. m. of
ACP produced, random offline check is done every 45 minutes.
3. Product check: The product thus manufactured, undergoes the most stringent tests
according to global standards, passing which it qualifies for dispatch
4. Post production check: Before being dispatched, visual inspection is done to check
product tolerances and any other kind of manufacturing defect. Besides, 6 months of
weathering test is done for materials of all lots, comprising Deep freezing, Boiling
water& long term weatherability (open sky) tests.
5. Our highly qualified R & D team can be credited for making Aludecor the
only company that manufactures fire retardant products in-house. For FR
materials Aludecor follows backward integration. Trial production is done
in its Baby ACP line and the same is subjected to rigorous tests, before final
production is undertaken.
The department is also responsible for making us the sole Indian
manufacturer to introduce products like Zinc Composite Panels and Copper
Composite Panels which is a distant dream for other Indian manufacturers.
Support of our partner paint companies has enabled us to achieve excellent
results and increase our product categories which pass any global standards.

6. Aludecor arguably has the best infrastructure in the country. It is the only company in
India that manufactures the mineral core required to produce fire retardant ACP, in-
house through backward integration. Trial production is done in its Baby ACP line and
the same is subjected to rigorous tests, before final production is undertaken.
Aludecor’s FR ACP, Firewall is also process certified for reaction to fire by Exova
Warrington fire of the UK.
Aludecor also pioneered the Double Coat Double Bake Line with its own Coil Coating
Line in India, which is the best process for coil coating. The Steel Applicator Roll in its
Coating Line gives its metallic shades unparalleled brilliant effects. ACPs of Aludecor
also have the highest gloss retention owing to the usage of high quality resins and they
are manufactured with high quality virgin raw materials sourced within the country
from the world’s best suppliers like Hindalco, Dupont, PPG, AkzoNobel, Nippon, Berger
Becker etc.
The company maintains stringent quality checks in its manufacturing processes so that
its products can pass any international standards for Coated and Composite Products.
Quality Assurance tests take place online as well as in its fully equipped labs where
tests of AAMA and ECCA standards can be conducted.

12. Aludecor’s FireWall has mineral content and is made with AA5005/AA3105 alloy.
It is a tried-and-tested, non-halogenated FR ACP which
• will not produce toxic gases that cause death. 80% of death in a fire accident is
caused by smoke which is a dreadful combination of CO and CO2. The
haemoglobin in our blood loves carbon monoxide much more than oxygen
• will not blur vision thus making it easy for people to get out via the escape routes
• will not release excessive heat onto other materials that can cause fire
• will not contribute to rapid spreading of flames to the upper floors of the building,
up to 2 hours
• will not melt into flaming droplets; Instead turn into innocuous dust particles
• will not come off the façade when the building is doused with water
Aludecor is equipped with Baby Line, a miniature version of an
ACP Lamination Line, where trial productions of the Aludecor
mineral core takes place. The mineral core produced in this Baby
Line is subjected to rigorous tests, and only on clearing them, is
the particular batch sent for final production.

Product certifications and reports :-
• Aludecor FireWall has Factory Production Control Certification from Exova Warrington
fire of the UK (ewcl5) for reaction to fire classification of EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, d0,
BS476, Part 6 and 7 Class O.
• Aludecor FireWall also passed the ASTM E119-12 test for 2-hour resistance to fire. The
test also checks if the MCP disintegrates from the structure when water is sprayed
through fire hoses to bring the fire under control.
• EN 13501-1 test validates that it will not contribute to the spreading of fire; that smoke
production will be negligible and flaming droplets will turn to harmless ash particles. On
clearing this test Aludecor FireWall has received the B-s1, d0 fire classification.

FireWall A2 is the highest available grade of fire-retardant ACP in the world made with
more than 90% inorganic mineral content. It is a tried-and-tested, non-halogenated A2
grade ACP which
• will not produce toxic gases that cause death. 80% of death in a fire accident is

• will not blur vision thus making it easy for people to get out via the escape routes

• Is a better and safer material compared to other fire-retardant ACPs for high-rises
beyond 15 meters.
• Completely stops fire from spreading owing to its 90% mineral content,
Production and Certification :-
Aludecor FireWall A2 has Factory Production Control certification from Exova Warrington
fire of the UK (ewcl5) for reaction to fire classifications of EN 13501-1 Class A2 – s1, d0.
FireWall A2 is only available in AL45 grade.
FPC vs 1a
As compared to a simple test report a certification like FPC is more credible. The validity
of the production process followed in a factory that FPC underscores is considered
important and relevant. In FPC both the product and the manufacturing process
employed are tested by international agencies whereas, in 1a certification, the product
itself is not tested. For an Indian plant, it implies that a company is using the same
category of machinery, not necessarily the same one, capable of producing a similar
product.

14. Aludecor’s Copper Composite Panels (CCP) and Zinc Composite Panels (ZCP),
introduced in India for the first time by Aludecor, take cladding dreams several
notches higher. Super durable and stunning . . . to have them adorn your facades will
be a style statement in itself.
• Zinc and Copper are natural elements. They can be recycled at a rate
of 90 to 100 percent and have less embodied energy than aluminium or
steel. This is why they use less energy at the time of production and
have a second life after they come off. Combining a high recycle-rate
with a low maintenance rate and a long life cycle equating into lower
costs, is a win-win for both the architect and the builder.
• They are non-corrosive, environment-friendly and natural with 100%
clear water runoff.
• The use of Zinc and Copper enable buildings to qualify for LEED
points.
• The long term service-life implication of buildings has received more
attention in recent years, particularly during the current process of
developing the International Green Construction Code (IGCC). The long
life expectancy of both ZCP and CCP readily supports this requirement.
• Part of the beauty of these metals comes from their natural colours.
This means no additional paints, sprays, or other treatment is needed.
Consequently, no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), that might
generate emissions which counter a healthy indoor environment, needs
to be introduced.
The main areas of application for ZCP and CCP
are façades, claddings, roofs and interiors.

sourced from VMZINC, France.
* Copper Coils used to manufacture Aludecor CCPs are
imported from Europe.

20. It is refreshing to see so much of innovation happening in
Aludecor products. There are several surfaces that have been
introduced. I especially like the textured ones and the dual-
tone ACPs that changes colour. It works perfectly for both
exteriors and interiors. There are so many possibilities with
