12. China is one of the earliest countries in the world to start poultry & livestock husbandry.
With the rapid development of animal husbandry in China, especially the rapid
development of large-scale and intensive commercial farming, the scale of animal
husbandry and the output value increases at an annual rate of more than 10%.
The establishment of intensive factory farms is an important way to adjust the industrial
structure and increase income,,but it also faces serious pollution prevention and control
problem.

13. The pollution of animal husbandry mainly refers to the production of feces from
livestock and waste from livestock and poultry farms in the livestock production
process.
While the most important pollution is from the feces of livestock and poultry. Livestock
and poultry feces is not only harmful to the air, water, and human body, but also causes
corrosion to the color steel plates and purlins of the farm building.
According to relevant experts, a chicken produces 100g of feces every day, and
about 36kg of feces every year. An industrial chicken farm that feeds 10,000 chickens
will produce 1 ton of chicken feces per day, and about 360 tons of chicken feces every
year; A pig produces 6kg of feces per day,and about 2 tons of feces every year. An
industrial pig farm that feeds 1000 pigs will produce 6 ton of pig feces per day, and
about 2000 tons of chicken feces every year;

16. The above two charts show that livestock feces contains chemical components such
as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N),
while the odor emitted from feces mainly contains hydrogen sulfide (H2S). And
ammonia (NH3), two corrosive gases. Among them, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia
cause the most serious corrosion to the color steel plates and purlins.

17. H2S：
H2S is an inorganic compound, which is normally a colorless, flammable acid gas. When
the concentration is low, it is malodorous and the smell is rotten. At room temperature
and pressure, dry H2S will not cause corrosion to metals, but when it dissolves in water,
a wet H2S environment will be formed.
Wet H2S reacts electrochemically on the metal surface, causing corrosion pits, spots,
and large areas to fall off on the metal surface, so there will be perforation on the color
steel plates and purlins ,and make them weaken or even crack.

18. NH3：
NH3 is a colorless gas with a strong pungent odor. NH3 can be ionized into NH4+ and OH-
to form an electrolyte solution in a humid environment, and promote the metal galvanic
reaction to accelerate metal corrosion. Although corrosiveness is not very strong, but
under such circumstances for a long time, the surface of color steel plates and purlins
slowly blisters, falls off and eventually rusts.

19. To protect the corrosion to color steel plates from these pollution sources, the Xinhonghua
Company has developed this Poultry & Livestock. Specified Nano Steel-Al Composite
Panel product. This product adopts advanced composite technology, covering PET
(polyethylene terephthalate) on the upper and lower sides of the color steel plate (upper:
heat insulation + corrosion protection; lower: corrosion protection).
Compared with ordinary color steel plate, the add-on protective films on both sides of the
panel well protects the inside color steel plate from the direct eroding of corrosive gas,
liquid being , so as to increase the service life,and reduce labor, material costs.

27. China is known as the “kingdom of ceramics” and is the largest producer of ceramics in the world
and a major exporter of ceramics. At present, there are nearly 3,000 architectural ceramics
factories, more than 8,000 daily-use ceramics factories, more than 1,000 sanitary ceramics
factories, and a considerable number of ceramic workshops in China. There are tens of
thousands of large and small kilns, consuming 40 million to 50 million tons of standard coal
every year.
A large amount of exhaust gas produced in the production process can not be effectively treated
and is discharged directly into the air. The exhaust gas not only pollutes the environment, but
also causes corrosion to the color steel plates and purlins of the ceramic plant.

28. The pollutants in the exhaust gas of the ceramic industry can be devided into common
pollutants and specific pollutants.
Common pollutants includes: carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen
oxides (NOX), particulates, and etc.,
Specific pollutants includes: lead, cadmium, nickel, chlorides, fluorides, and etc.,
Among all pollutants,the common pollutants (SO2, NOX) have the most obvious
pollution to color steel plates.
The pollutants usually produce pungent odors in darker colors during the discharge
process;

29. SO2:
The SO2 in the waste gas of the ceramic industry mainly generated by the sulfur in fuels (coal,
heavy oil, etc.) and sulfur in ceramic raw materials. At high temperature, a portion of the sulfur
from the ceramic raw material forms SOX (sulfide) into the furnace flue gas. Sulfur dioxide is a
colorless, highly irritating toxic gas.
When sulfur dioxide is dissolved in water, sulfurous acid H2SO3(the main component of acid
rain) is formed. If there is a catalyst such as nitrogen dioxide (NO2), the sulfur dioxide will be
further oxidized, and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) will be generated. Sulfuric acid is the most active
binary inorganic strong acid that reacts with many metals. It will corrode the paint and cause
the steel plate to rust and perforate.

31. NOX:
NOX has three sources: rapid NOX, thermal NOX, and fuel NOX. rapid NOX generally
accounts for 5% of the total; The generation of fuel NOX is closely related to the nitrogen
content of the fuel; thermal NOX is mainly generated during fuel combustion.
Nitrogen oxides as air pollutants often refer to nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
The chemical nature of nitric oxide is very lively. When it reacts with oxygen, it can form
corrosive nitrogen dioxide. Nitrogen dioxide dissolves in water and reacts with water to
produce nitric acid (HNO3).
Nitric acid is a kind of strong acid with strong oxidizing and corrosive properties. It erodes
the paint and zinc layer of the color steel plate, destroys the color steel plate, and reduces
the service life.
