Differentiated Instruction Vs Traditional Classroom...
1)What is differentiated instruction? Differentiated instruction is a system that teachers use to
inform the different learners that they have in their own classrooms. In differentiated instruction
teachers use different teaching methods to help identify the different types of learner they have in
their class. It is also a variety of grouping methods in the classroom to help pupils according to their
needs. Differentiated instruction includes continues formative assessment which helps the teacher to
understand and change instruction based on individual student needs 2) Describe at least four
significant ways in which differentiated instruction differs from traditional classroom instruction. In
a traditional classroom, lessons are advise to

The Difference Between Online Learning And Traditional...
The differences seem to be profound and similar at the same time with online learning and
traditional classroom education . The online tool of technology has the relationship of human and
machine conversing , working as a unit , impersonal , with a no interaction as with a human being as
teacher . In that reality the teaching basically is deleted where the student is teaching their selves to
a certain extent with learning also. With this you only find information that is updated for the
learning experience of the student , this is the similarity with classroom learning .For the teacher
also gives information also derived from updated curriculum works . The traditional classroom has
advantages . They have a personality each to its own that can be expressed from faculty and student
alike . That shows the personal side to education . Their is someone to set the rules and guidelines to
follow ,there is someone to look up to ,there are others to interact with face to face with for seeing
the reaction to that interaction. With online learning there is the advantage of scheduling with the
student being able to learn at the pace they can more proficient with . The classroom student has to
adhere to the rules set by the instructor no matter the students priorities . The overall learning ability
of the student is the best determining factor with the opportunities afforded to students today . The
choices that can determined by prospective students today is outstanding .

Learning Online And Traditional Classroom Setting
During my educational journey I have experienced learning online and in a traditional classroom
setting. Working in a classroom allowed me to receive a more hands on approach with my learning
from my instructor. Learning in person helped me to seek help if I was confused, ask questions, and
receive a response immediately. Upon completing my work assignments, I was able to work side by
side with my classmates and collaborate, and work as a team. Most importantly, everything is at
your fingertips such as your class material and a physical textbook. In addition, in a classroom
setting you are able to take quizzes and tests that will help you retain the information by answering
the questions.
However, learning online is totally a different ball game. When learning online most of the time
there is no test or quizzes involved, you work at your own pace, and the only material you will need
is your computer. Working at your own pace helps because, it allows you to work ahead and
complete your assignments according to your own schedule and not having to wait on your
instructor. A great advantage to learning online is, not having to travel to a physical classroom. Your
work is available at any time of the day. Everything I needed was in my computer so I didn't have to
keep up with any material or purchase any. However, learning online, helps you to focus more with
fewer distractions around you, but leaves you limitless to help when you need it.

Traditional Classroom
Learning in a traditional classroom requires you to get up and get ready by a certain time. You must
find a sitter, if needed, as well as find a job that will work around you school schedule. If you have a
doctor appointment or need to do something important, you must miss class for that. You have to
find the extra time to do your makeup work and anything that you missed. Learning in an online
setting, lets you work on the everyday task. If you have a job that requires you to work long hours;
you can come home after a day of work and go online to start your class. You have the options to
work ahead a little on the online course, compared to a traditional class where you can only work on
assignments handed out at the time. Online classes give ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I, myself, have found that I do try to multi–task with several different things in a days time. I find
that if you focus on one thing at a time, it helps you understand it better. I plan on working towards
just doing one thing at a time; by first learning not to rush things so I have time to do it. With kids,
and work at times, it is hard to just sit down and focus on one certain thing at a time. When it comes
to focusing on school work, I find that it is best to find somewhere quiet and calm to do your work.
Although I have a hard time doing this at times, I know the importance of focusing on one thing.
When you try to do more than one thing, you tend to let some things slip. As an adult with kids, you
try to do as much as possible in a short amount of time. At times, you will forget about something or
overlook something, all because you were multi–tasking. In order to succeed, I feel as though you
should only focus on one thing/item at a time. In order to do so, you must make time in your
day/agenda. If I can learn anything aside from Criminal Justice, it is to be able to focus on one thing
at a time, and not multi–task. As many adults when you multi–task, you think that you are getting
more accomplished, but in the long run, you end up having to go back over some of the things you

Abstract:
Technology has had and imperative influence in almost every aspect of life. It has also made an
impact on how we learn today. Some question how effective learning could be via the internet,
while most stick with the familiarity of traditional classroom learning. Either option you choose still
substantiates that technology has changed the way we learn and will continue to expand on its
influences with the ways we choose to progress educationally. Each educational platform has it
disadvantages, however the advantages pose alternatives that can suit an individual's educational
needs.
With technology influencing almost every aspect of common activities, it's not unusual for it to
influence the way we learn. The traditional classroom environment is being challenged with the
implementation of online learning. With major technological advances over the last 20 years, many
traditional classroom environments have been replaced with online learning platforms that create
convenient, accelerated, and comprehensive learning opportunities around the world. Although
some would beg the differ that online learning can replace classroom education completely, online
education continues to improve allowing it to become a more trustworthy alternative for learning.
Since the traditional classroom environment pacifies familiarity in education some opt for

The Importance Of The Flipped Classroom
The motivation to examine the flipped classroom as a theme of investigation originates from this
present creator's advantage and mastery in utilizing innovation and how it can be utilized to draw in
and upgrade the classroom condition today. Most secondary school seniors were conceived and
grew up concurrent with the introduction of cell phones, youtube, myspace, facebook, snapchat and
instagram. With the advances in innovation regularly, one starts to contemplate what is the eventual
future of education. Flipped classroom turned into an enthusiasm of mine since it includes utilizing
online videos and it can possibly furnish educators with additional time in the classroom to provide
learning experiences that will reinforce the skills needed by the 21st Century student.
Why the Flipped Classroom
Research has demonstrated that the classroom educator can have the largest impact on gains in
student learning (Marzano, Pickering, & Pollack, 2001). Marzano et al. (2001) provided teachers
with many different research–based strategies for increasing student achievement. In later research,
(Marzano, 2007) went on to say, "Arguably, keeping students engaged is one of the most important
considerations for the classroom teacher" (Marzano, 2007 p. 98). He additionally states that
engaging students have become increasingly difficult with the "influence of a society with fast
paced media and video games." (Marzano, 2007 p. 98) Marzano provided educators with many
different ideas for the

Technology Usage in the Traditional Classroom
Technology is an important aspect of American culture. It is no longer just a tool for the outside
world, but one with which we can use to teach ourselves. Whether it be computers, or hand–held
devices, schools around the nations have been moving towards a paperless environment. I believe
this is a change for the better. Technology provides opportunities that before would never have been
thinkable. I live in a small town with a population of about one–thousand. It is safe to say that our
school does not have as many opportunities as schools in big cities. However, with the use of the
internet I have been able to take online classes along with many of my peers. I took two online

How Is Online Learning Different From A Traditional Classroom
Online learning is much different from the traditional classroom settings. Aside from the obvious
location differences, there are pros and cons to online learning that are very different from a
classroom. A student must be willing to embrace these differences to successfully move forward and
excel in the online environment.
One of the things in online learning that is important is establishing your classroom. With a
traditional class, the classroom and times are designated to the student. In an online environment, it
is up to the student to determine the when and where. It is important to remember that all of your
classes take place on the computer and even your book can be found there. It is the student 's
responsibility to make this work for themselves. Part of being able to excel in learning is setting up
a time and a place where you will be able to make learning work for you. This also relates to good
time management. Let those around you know when you will be in class so that they do not disturb
you during this time. With a designated time and place set aside, a student can begin to schedule
their days around when they have time to get their classwork completed.
Another huge element to online learning is communication. The instructor is located at a remote
location and the student does not have face time with them. The student will need to learn to reach
out through messages or phone calls. This is essential when learning online. The student may also

The “Modern” Classroom. If You Were To Ask A Group Of People
THE "MODERN" CLASSROOM If you were to ask a group of people of varying ages today to
describe the word "classroom", you would unsurprisingly get a similar response from a majority of
the crowd. A box shaped room with rows of small, confining desks, and a whiteboard or chalkboard
front and center of the room. The funny thing is that if you were to ask the same question 200 years
ago, you would probably get the same response. Why does the classroom of the 21st century look so
similar to the classrooms of the 1800's? Have we really gone nearly two centuries without changing
our educational environment? The answer, sadly, is yes. However, there are many who believe the
classroom needs a major update, and I would have to agree. Although many ... Show more content

"Too many of our teachers are using 21st century technology with 19th century pedagogy with
teaching styles and classroom management techniques that haven't changed much since my
grandparents were in school... many schools still employ "top–down one size fits all" teaching
methods where learning is based on how many hours kids spend in class rather than what skills and
insights they acquire" (Magid)
Personally, these classes left me having to make extra time not only to review and study the
material, but to make sense of it at the most basic level.
On the other hand, I have taken several online classes that have been less traditional, and more
technology driven. However, there were a few problems that arose with these courses: the lack of
immediate contact to the instructor; and the lack of interaction with my classmates. If I had a
question I wasn't guaranteed immediate feedback. "Online interaction can be equally as stimulating,
but it can also make you feel like you are all alone in your coursework because of the inherent lack
of physical presence" (Florida National University). Ultimately this would hinder my learning
process, along with the urge to procrastinate on my virtual assignments without the push of a real
instructor made online classes a little challenging.
However, some of the best classes that I have taken have been ones that were a combination of both
traditional and online learning. They were less

Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom
When a person thinks of someone going to college they probably imagine them walking across a
large campus or sitting in a lecture hall among other students. While this is the way many people do
choose to attend college, there are also those who have chosen to get their degree in an online
setting. Online learning gives people the opportunity to get their education in a way that is more
flexible and can fit in with their daily lives. Though both are reputable forms of higher educations,
there are distinct differences between learning in a tradition classroom and learning in an online
setting.
The most obvious difference in online learning versus traditional classroom learning is the setting.
Traditionally, students would gather in a classroom where they would take notes, listen to lectures,
turn in work, and take exams. Online learning, on the other hand, can take place in multiple
locations at various times. Online college programs, like Bethels, give more flexibility to students
because there are no set times for lectures. Videos of lectures and other important information
relating to the class can be viewed at any time and they can also be viewed as often as needed.
Because these lectures are constantly available, student can view the videos and reading material
multiple times in order to get a better understanding of the class. Books are also commonly
available within the online classroom, giving students even more access (Bethel University, 2014).

Richard Rodriguez’s Challenging The Traditional Classroom...
Education is a wonderful asset to anyone. With a good one the sky is the limit, and without one
opportunity may never come knocking. In today's society, so much emphasis is put on education.
How many times have we heard the saying "if you get a good education, you'll get a good job and
make a lot of money"? Even today, my parents remind me of how much a college degree would add
to my marketability. But when does it become too much? Is it possible that one could overlook the
more important values in life in search to become a "learned man"? In Richard Rodriguez's story
Challenging The Traditional Classroom he examines his life as a student, and the affects his learning
has towards his attitude about family and heritage.
Rodriguez is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As Rodriguez became more involved with his academics he drifted further away from his family.
The intimacy once shared between them was disappearing. "He takes his first step toward academic
success, away from his family.". His family also understood the importance of education, as his
siblings did well in school, but were never "so anxious about their schooling". Upon making sure
that her children learned English, Rodriguez's mother would tell them to maintain their Spanish.
This was obviously a hint to the children to remember their culture. While soaking in all his
academics, Rodriguez intentionally abandons his culture. He makes it obvious that he wants nothing
to do with his heritage by imitating the accents and diction of his teachers. He also doesn't
participate in family gatherings, which is evident when he tells us, "Nights when relatives visited
and the front rooms were warmed by Spanish sounds, I slipped quietly out of the house". Rodriguez
actually uses his academics to move further away from his culture. He believes that being educated
in academics will truly make him successful, and "like his teachers".
It's sad to think that one could put so much focus on education, and not see the importance of family
and heritage. These two things are what make us who we are, and despite what we go through, they
will remain unchanged (in most cases). Rodriguez learns this lesson first hand when he realizes the
error in his

Vs.
Online Education
Education is becoming one of the most essential things in a person's life. Nowadays, many
individuals are looking to go the extra mile and further their education. This is because numerous
employers require a degree and a significant amount of experience in order to become eligible for
certain occupations. The next question to consider is how to go about this. Younger adults with
minimal responsibilities unquestionably have a broader range of options. As for working adults who
have kids and obligations that hold them back, attending classes multiple times a week may seem
tough and out of the question.
Thankfully, the progression of technology has had a major impact on education. The implementation
of education was only in a traditional setting before this advancement of technology. Currently, this
has altered. With the outburst of the technology industry in the past 15 years, online education has
helped people from all walks of life continue and further their education. This ultimately leaves us
with a concern on the quality of the education provided. There are several things to consider when
choosing which route one should pursue. Before committing to any specific degree program, one
should weigh and evaluate their options based on what is important and vital to them. Despite
sharing many apparent similarities, the difference between both

The Flipped Classroom Experience
Technologies have its own share of advantages and disadvantages. Technology can be a boon in
disguise or it can work in opposite way. In past, several learning institutes have tried applying new
and latest technologies to enhance the teaching experience. Technology needs to be analysed
methodically to estimate the benefits. The technology we discussed and recommend includes
Webex, classroom recording which facilitate collaborative online interactive sessions. These
technology have played important role in making teaching more flexible and beneficial to students
and teachers. Many universities across the world have started using online interactive sessions for
teaching. This is also known as online tutoring or online course. As of now, major US universities
including MIT and Harvard are offering online courses. It has its own unique selling point of
location flexibility. It has been successfully tried across the world to give more value to students and
make education truly global globalized.
This can be also used to have mix of both worlds. Not just online or full recorded classroom videos
but something that gives a better learning experience. It is also called as Flipped learning. Flipped
learning is combination of online teaching and recorded video sessions, which students watch
usually at home and homework is now completed in the class with interaction from teachers and
collaboration of students. Flipped teaching is a new form of blended learning instead of pure
lecturing.

Traditional Teaching And Traditional Learning Approach In...
In a flipped learning approach, lecture and homework are switched. Students watch lectures at home
prior to class and class time is spent expanding on content through collaborative learning and
content exercises. This model moves the learning environment from teacher centered to student
centered, allowing students to become responsible for their learning environment. The teacher takes
a step back and has the students take over the reins in the classroom. Instead of showing the students
what to do, the teacher would guide and mentor them in order for them to be able to draw their own
conclusions and produce their own outcomes.
For a flipped learning approach to work, everyone must be on board. There are several benefits to
flipped learning versus the traditional teaching model. A traditional classroom is teacher–centered,
doesn't foster deep learning and is filled with passive learners. A flipped classroom, is learner
centered, promotes deeper learning and filled with active learners.
Not all flipped classrooms are the same. There are different types of models that support specific
classroom and student needs. In a standard flipped classroom, students are assigned video lectures to
watch at home, along with readings. During class, they practice what they learned via individual or
group activities. A discussion–oriented flipped classroom has a similar set–up, except that class time
is spent on discussion and deeper exploration of the topic. Finally, in an in–flipped

Essay on Distance Learning vs. the Traditional Classroom
Distance Learning vs. the Traditional Classroom
Non–traditional students are finding it easier and easier to maintain a job, a family, and pursuing a
college career at the same time. This is possible because more and more non–traditional students are
receiving an education using distance learning, as opposed to traditional, in–the–classroom teaching.
Distance learning is basically taking college level, credit–bearing courses via the Internet. One of
the most obvious advantages of distance learning is that it puts the classroom in your home, office,
or wherever you can find a computer and log on to the Internet. However, there is much controversy
regarding the quality of the courses being offered on the Internet versus the quality of ... Show more

This is because the student is allowed to get a "feel" for the class.
Distance learning does not provide the advantage of building a strong academic or interpersonal
relationship with your Instructor. It also does not allow you to express your individuality in the
classroom. Distance learning is more of a multimedia–type learning than anything else. This is
because distance learning is accomplished via the Internet. Receiving instruction via the Internet is
analogous to receiving instruction to, say, a CD ROM.
Distance learning is not the best way to receive instruction. It could be that my bias is for traditional
classroom learning because that is all that I have know all my life. I cannot fully comprehend how
effective can learning over the Internet truly be. However, at the same time we have to focus on why
some students decide that taking a web course is the best choice for them.
A non–traditional student, as defined by the Buffalo State College 1999–2000 Catalog is a person
who waits one full year to attend college after graduating high school or one that decides to attend
college after his or her twenty–third birthday. Statistics show that the majority of non–traditional
students are employed. Many have children to look after. Many non–traditional students have jobs

Homeschooling And Traditional Classroom Education
Compare and Contrast Homeschooling and Traditional Classroom Education
People can choose to get homeschooling or not in the 1970s, some famous writer started write
relative innovation at the same time ("Homeschooling 101", 2012). There are now more than two
million children being homeschooled in the U.S., with the percentage rapidly increasing by 7
percent to 15 percent each year, according to the National Home Education Research Institute
("Homeschooling 101," 2012). Maybe we can find that homeschooling is becoming more popular
than traditional school, but the truth is, most children still choose to study in traditional school. We
could not ignore that it is hard and laborious for parents to teach their own child at home, although
the child could learn a great deal under the homeschooling. If they send their child to traditional
school, more time could be saved and the parent could improve themselves and be an example for
their child. For instance, participating in the activities with other kids and learning from them for
comparison. Furthermore, attending traditional school could save a ton of money for kids to use it
on other skill learning. Whatever the parent decides to do either the homeschooling or send their
children to the traditional school, there is no denying that children can learn things. From textbook
knowledge, on average, home schoolers score at or above the national average on standardized
measurement. (Distefano,

Distance learning or traditional classroom? Every one dreams to get a Harvard education but only a

for many and the only way to get the Harvard or MIT education to everyone is distance education. If
not Harvard even mass education of the society is not easy and the distance education is the only
way to do that. Distance education is getting more popular in current word partly because of the

Despite many advantages and disadvantages of distance education I choose to discuss three main
groups which are involved in the distance learning. The first group is institution, second one is
faculty and the third is students. The institutions which offer a distance education need not build a
big building to accommodate number of students, only need a small studio to telecast the class and
that is enough to reach larger audience, eliminates the commuting costs and promote green
revolution. On the other hand, the institution must acquire state of the art technology for a seamless
and un–interruptive transmission of lecture which might require heavy investment in the beginning.
The faculty might not be trained to teach before a camera and initially they may not perform well.
Finally, the student may not be motivated or vigilant to grasp the lecture easily because of remote
nature of the class and the students may have missing physical component of the instruction. For
example, a student cannot get eye contact of a professor while teaching to show a gesture to initiate
a question. From institution perspective, online courses can reach a much larger audience, with
students from greater geographic regions than traditional classroom courses. Also, the institutions

Teacher Reflection
In Chapter three of the readings Atwell discusses the importance of setting the tone and establishing
structure, organization, and routines during the first week of class. She explains that as a teacher a
lot of time is put into preparation for the first week of school because she wants the students to leave
excited about the class, the material and her as a teacher, which helps set the tone for the rest of the
yr. In addition, she mentioned that it is equally important for her to establish "her role as a teacher,
writer, reader of books, responder to literature, and a lover and unpacker of poems" (Atwell,2015). I
believe that anybody that has ever worked with children, whether it be in the classroom or coaching
sports would agree with her position about establishing a firm foundation and routine during the
first week or the beginning of every week, because it will carry on throughout the course of the year
or week. The last thing you as a teacher or coach want to do is to scare or intimidate the students,
hurt their confidence, or make them dread coming to your class. I don't think that's any teacher's real
intension, although it happens all too often. Have you had an experience with a teacher who hurt
your confidence or that made you dislike the subject or class? Unfortunately, I have had many
teachers whom acted as though they just didn't care about the students or our success, and that
attitude from our teacher/leadership person truly does rub off on the students. I had one science
teacher in high school, Miss Whitney whom was very abrasive yet passionate about the subject to
the point of overcomplicating the assignments and confusing the students. I still dislike science to
this day and I believe it stems from that experience. The unfortunate thing is that it only takes one
bad experience for a student to shut down and withdraw from the classroom activities, so in my
opinion it is very important for the teacher not only to care about the student's success, but also
recognize much like Atwell that they need to change the way they are doing things to get kids more
engaged in the materials, and accept the fact that hands on enjoyment and fun activities are just as
effective learning tools as traditional

The Negative Effects Of Technology In Schools
This paper explores the addition of technology in schools and effects it has on students. The purpose
of the research was to reveal that the positives of adding technology outweigh the negatives.
Technology has the power to enhance learning for students and to overall create a better learning
experience for everyone. This is proven by showing examples of schools that have already
implemented technology in the classroom and the positive results that came with it, as well as the
negatives and worries many people have with technology, and how to avoid it. Overall the research
has shown that students have a better time learning with the addition of technology, and that
negatives of technology can be easily avoided. In today's society, technology plays a major role in
the way people operate in their daily lives. It is being used as a tool for people to improve their
surroundings by having quick and easy access to a large amount of information anytime they want.
With the rapid growth, schools and teachers around the world have implemented many different
forms of technology to enhance student interest and achievement. This has entered into teaching
methods such as online testing, online reading assignments, research information and many others.
The use of technology in school nowadays has become inevitable, but some may argue that this
increased use has harmed the development and learning of the students. Given that the positives of
technology outweigh the negatives;

different experiences throughout life. People understand and learn in different ways and paces,
including education because there is a variety of ways students can interpret what is being taught.
The flipped classroom is one of the ways students can get information differently from what they

While vastly different to traditional schooling, the flipped classroom is an innovation that benefit

With the information in class readily available at home, the students can look over and analyze the

simply ask their teacher when they are given the assignment in class. Since the teacher will not be

analyze that data and get their own interpretation of the information thus giving a better
understanding of the information as a whole. Another reason why the flipped classroom can help is
the improved interaction between student and teacher. In the typical classroom, students

2. I am an activist. Walking into ETST 111 on the first day I was excited to critically analyze the
history and repercussion of predominate movements that have undoubtedly affected the way in
which society works today. Moreover, I was intrigued as to how my previous work as an activist
will translate in my academic strives to understand what great movement building concepts are. The
simple congregation of the class serves as a median to begin dialogue. I was curious to see how the
structure of the class was going to mediate the aforesaid. In this part of the assignment, I will
critically analyze how effective and ineffective the course structure, content, format, grading and
decision–making process was for the class:
The structure of the classroom is designed about an enclosed four wall space, where each breadth is
shorter and deeper than the one before, is claustrophobic and impossible. The state has indoctrinated
us to believe that the optimal learning experience is held inside impacted classrooms that have a
disproportionate teach to student ratio. This phenomenon is clearly seen in our own classroom,
where the own classroom that we are assigned for the quarter was specifically designed to facilitate
discussion through different resources allocated throughout the room which in return remained
useless due to the impacted tables implemented in the classroom to accommodate an overcrowded
upper division class. I critique the space we were assigned to because for the whole quarter the class
was structured mainly around class discussion. I found the whole situation an oxymoron simply
because the setting conflicted with the structure of class. Specifically, I often felt disconnected with
the class because for the most part I could faintly hear my pears discoursing their opinion as I stared
directly into the back of their heads. Instead of the intent listening and intense eye contact that
should be used to maximize efficient dialogue and conversation, so for the most part the table
arrangement ineffectively allowed for meaningful conversation that incorporated all the students in
the class. Stern Neill and Rebecca Etheridge authors of "Flexible Learning Spaces: The Integration

educated in some things which is completely normal, no one is the same. Some kid's need that more
personal or one on one learning because there are some kids that need. Sometimes it just works out
for the family best, for example my parents travel a lot and for me to go to a traditional classroom I
depended on my parents to drive me to school every day because I don't live close for the bus to
pick me up and take me to school. There were many other reasons like the people I associated
myself with because they were the people I met my freshman year. I realized that the people I was
hanging out with were not people that I had things in common with. My freshman year I was as my
7th grade teacher said "I was a follower not a leader". Which is crazy to think because if anyone
personally knows me they know I do not like when people boss me around, if I were to work I
would rather be the boss and not the employee. People think a lot of bad things about me because
my dad is a business owner and that is all I've ever seen him do. Which has create this monster

Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom
Education is a major attribute to have in this new generation of technology. Education can also
broaden your horizons in the job market, getting the best education is important whether it is online
learning or in a traditional classroom. The key is finding the one that will be most efficient for your
learning.
I would say online learning is more hard because I think there is a lot of unnecessary 1busy work
assigned in my personal opinion than a classroom setting. Online learning has advantages as well
such as being in the convenience of one's own home and having the flexibility to an individual to
watch the class lectures on their own schedule.
On the other hand, the traditional classroom setting is what people have been custom to until online
learning was designed. Being in the classroom has its advantages as well for example one has the
ability to engage and get immediate feedback from the educator and socialize with the other
classmates in a traditional classroom setting. Secondly, the hands on training rather than computer
training can be a plus for hands on learners.
All and all, with online learning having great flexibility and the traditional classroom having
immediate interaction with the professor and students, which ever one an individual chooses to learn
each one has their perks to get the best education for future enhancement. I personally chose online
because of my busy schedule and I think it was the best decision to make to further my education.

Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom
Higher education has become an important commodity in today's society. We are told as children
that college is the only way to obtain a good job and secure our future. Once a student has decided
to pursue. The traditional learning experience is sold as we tour campuses. This is the way higher
education has been completed since its inception. Society has evolved and so has the ways to obtain
higher learning. Students now have the option to complete their learning online, as well as, the
traditional route. Online learning has been looked at as a lower level of learning, compared to the
traditional classroom setting. I believe that online learning has now evolved to the level that it is
equal to the traditional classroom setting. I also believe that online learning adds additional benefits
to students when used in conjunction with traditional learning. To better understand this, a
knowledge of the different settings will need to be explained.
The traditional setting is where a student sits in a classroom and learns from an instructor during
lecture and demonstration. Bo Keum Choi, of the Institute for Whole Person Education with Sogang
University, and Ellen L. Park, of the Baird University College at SoongSil University, (2014), state
"The traditional college classroom design is based on the educational space that first appeared in
medieval universities. Since then classrooms have not changed except in their size."(749) This
shows that the traditional classroom has remained the

The Flipped Classroom Essay
The Benefits of the Flipped Classroom for the 21st Century Student
Introduction
98). He additionally states that
engaging students have become increasingly difficult with the "influence of a society with fast
paced media and video games."

Integrating Technology Within The Classroom
Literature Review
In the last few decades, there has been a push for integrating technology within the classroom.
Technologies has become commonly associated with the activities of everyday life, as a result, there
has been increased pressure to include technology in classrooms, kindergarten through twelfth grade
since the 1980s. (page #?Grant et al., 2015). This technology push has only increased since the last
century; educators are no longer responsible for teaching the 'traditional' reading, writing, and
arithmetic pedagogy of the past. In respect, students are no longer viewed in the same 'blank slates,'
but as collaborators in their learning. This collaboration is effective in preparing students for the job
market of the future, in which these technologies will be ever present and constantly changing.
In the 21st century, teachers and students have access to a constantly evolving series of technologies
which has facilitated a continued interest in how to use these types of technology in educational
environments. Through the incorporation of educational technology models and theories, the
practitioner's focus is specifically on how technology can be used to improve student performance
through processes, procedures, and tools. Processes and procedures may comprise any task or
intervention involving anything from a simple instructional strategy to a complex instructional
system.
(Wade et al., 2013).
However, successful integration of technology will only occur when

Online Learning vs. Traditional Classroom Learning
In the past, most college students were limited in their options regarding how they obtain their
education. However, now a day's students have various options. Students are able to choose whether
they want to complete their education through online learning, rather than in a traditional classroom.
As, a student is making that choice it is critical that they choose the best learning environment that
allows them to meets their individual needs. When students are selecting the best learning
environment there are various consideration that should be made before a decision is made.
Education ourselves about the benefits and disadvantages allows us to narrow our selection between
online learning and traditional classroom learning. Regardless of the choice in education type we
make in order to succeed we need to be focused, dedicated, and motivated.
There are others who argued that Traditional classes can be crowded; students multiple learning
approaches are not met, and there is the "one size fits all" approach that attempts to force students to
learn in the same way. On the other hand, online teaching offers students various benefits such as;
schedule flexible, ease of accessibility, range of options, and control over study time. It allows
students the opportunity to learn from the comfort of their own home and at their convenience. As,
for me due to my busy work schedule I have a challenging time taking courses in a traditional
classroom. Additionally, since I have two young

Research Paper On Online Classes
Online classes have boomed lately, but are they really worth all the work, or should we stick to
traditional classrooms? More and more people, especially these days have been enrolling in online
classes, due to the new technology being released. Online classes have been at lower quality
because of 3 reasons: how easy it is to cheat on them, the amount of money being put into them is
outrageous, and how small amount of control the professors have. Others might say, "I like online
classes because the class schedule is very flexible and I can work it into my schedule." While that is
true, online classes fail to give you is face–to–face communication." In Source B, the text states
that, "Online classes offer flexibility for sure. But if students never step foot on campus, often times
they will feel less invested in their education." If students feel less invested, they will tend to lose
their sense of perseverance, or their will to accomplish something. If they actually went into
classrooms, and set foot on the campus, they might get more invested in the school spirit, and find
other ways to make college more than just a learning experience.
These days especially, it's easy as ever to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Flipped Classroom Model Of Instruction
Abstract
The flipped classroom model is the brainchild of chemistry teachers Bergman and Sams who coined
this term in a publication in 2012. Both of these teachers experimented with their teaching style by
assigning videos of their classroom lectures for homework and using classroom instruction time to
work interactively with students who were either having difficulty understanding the material or had
the ability to work ahead. After reporting on their success, others have tried this method in their
classrooms. Although the results are varied, there is a willingness on the part of teachers to
experiment with this model both in the United States and overseas. Success may be related to the
age of the student, the commitment of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Advances in technology have made it possible for the instruction to move beyond teacher delivered
material in class followed by a review of the material by students in the form of homework (Steed,
2012). In theory, if the students are in control of the pace of their learning, their outcomes will be
better. Students, who are able to absorb new material at home, will come to class prepared to put the
knowledge into practice and thus reinforce the new material. The flipped classroom (Bergman &
Sams, 2012; Bull, et. al., 2012) involves the presentation of the new material via a video lecture
which students will watch at home prior to coming to class. Time in the classroom can then be
dedicated to putting the material into use, creating an environment of understanding by doing.
Although success with this format has been reported in some subject areas by some teachers, the
concept has not been widely studied over a long enough period of time to give conclusive data on
student learning using this method (Herreid & Schiller, 2013; Moran, 2015). The review of literature
was conducted in an effort to answer the following questions regarding the flipped classroom:
1. Do students who normally have trouble with homework assignments demonstrate increased
achievement when they watch lectures at home and then do the written assignments in school?
2. Do

Online Classes vs. Traditional Classroom Learning
Online Classes vs. Traditional Classroom Learning
When deciding to take college courses there are many choices you have to make. One of the more
important choices is where you plan to take your classes. Online classes are becoming increasingly
popular because they can be easier to fit into a busy schedule, but some people still argue that
nothing beats a traditional classroom setting. Having the option of online classes makes continuing
an education more appealing to people that have to balance many other responsibilities like family,
jobs, etc. Online classes and the traditional classroom setting both offer many of the same
advantages. They both provide the student with the same course content so there is no loss of
curriculum between the two. Both demand the same time investment for learning, studying, taking
exams, completing papers, and so on. Although it seems easy to think that with doing all of your
school work online there isn't any personal interaction with professors and peers, however, that is a
common misconception. Online classes, like traditional ones, require a degree of contact with your
peers and professors. It may not be as personal interaction as raising your hand and being called on,
but you can e–mail your professor at any time and there are discussion boards and forums available
for fellow students to communicate and help each other out. One of the most significant differences
between taking online classes and having the traditional

Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom Education
Imagine waking up, eating breakfast, going to school, and completing your course work without
leaving the comfort of your home or even your pajamas. The idea of attending school online and at
personal convenience is an option that many high school and college students have difficulty
passing up. In today's education system, students have the option to attend school in a traditional
classroom setting or attend online in the comfort of their own homes. Both options have their
benefits. However, in most cases, a traditional classroom education better prepares students K–12
for their futures by encouraging self–discipline and communication between teachers and peers.
Online learning, also known as distance learning, is growing rapidly throughout the United States.
The 2012 survey of online learning determined that "the number of students taking at least one
online course has now surpassed 6.7 million" (Online Learning Consortium, 2012). With the 2014
online learning statistics being released on February 5, it is expected that the number of students has
grown significantly in the past two years and is only set to increase into 2015. A traditional
classroom setting exposes students to what it will be like in their future workplace. In a classroom,
students are expected to communicate face to face with their peers and teachers. Every time students
attend school in a traditional classroom, they interact with their peers and learn what it is like to
work amongst people that they

Online Classroom Vs. Traditional Brick And Mortar Classroom
The first distinction between learning in an online classroom versus that of a traditional brick and
mortar classroom is that of time. Students log into their virtual classroom at times of their choosing
to learn and complete assignments. The virtual campus that we use has click functions that are set
up like a regular classroom. These functions mimic interactions between course facilitators and
students in traditional settings. V camp has an announcements section like a bulletin board on a
campus. We receive short notices from the facilitator such as reminders, updates to schedules or
other need to know information that doesn't require an email campaign from the faculty. The attend
section allows you watch your professor or facilitator deliver the lesson in lecture format. This, in
particular, will remind traditional learning students of sitting in a classroom. One thing that is good
about a recorded lecture is you can immediately replay a section that you failed to understand and
gain the knowledge that you require which may have been missed in a regular classroom setting.
The profiles section allows you meet your classmates and see if any live near you to see if you can
study together. The discuss section of the program lets you carry on open dialogue with your
classmates. Each student is required to answer the same question regarding a section of the course in
a certain format and reply to two other classmate's posts. This requirement allows for a dialogue

Attending A Traditional Classroom Setting
I have been fortunate enough to attend college in a traditional classroom setting as well as an online
setting; I can say for my academic journey the online setting better suited my learning type. When I
graduated high school I went to a traditional university, I did not do well and ended withdrawing
and failing classes. I attended an online university a few years later and found that it was a lot more
conducive to my learning style. The traditional college setting may be better suited for students that
may need more structure for learning. Sitting in a classroom with a professor telling you exactly
what assignments are, and when they are due is needed for some students. In a traditional college
setting the professor will stand in front of the class and give a lecture, at times this lecture will be far
from what is needed and filled with those professors' personal opinions. Then at a time where you
will be given an exam, the material was given is nothing of what the professor lectured on. So in
essence, the student will have to sit and listen to a professor lecture and then do their own reading
and research. When attending an online program, the student is responsible for making the time to
read, study, and complete the necessary work. Myself, I cannot say that I will be able to carve out
two to four hours a couple times a week to listen to a professor speak. My opinions are harsh, but
that comes from actual experiences. Logging on and reading what I need

The Effects Of Digital And Traditional On The Classroom
Many adults think that because children and young adults have immersed in technology at a young
age, they are naturally literate or skilled in using technology. Younger generations have been labeled
as "digital native" or "tech savvy" individuals. Unfortunately, this labeling is not as true as most
believe. Today's students are no more literate with digital devices than their parents are. Digital
literacy requires a much broader spectrum of skills than traditional reading requires. Skills that must
be taught and obtained through practice and repetition. Some teachers have recognized these skills
as critical for the new millennium and are now finding ways to incorporate them into classrooms; by
providing digital reading materials. However, it is important that we find a balance between
traditional and digital reading. Reading is an extremely important part of learning and should be
altered cautiously. Using digital and traditional readings in the classroom will be the most effective
way to build a wide variety of skills that are essential and will offer a much greater opportunity to
gain knowledge. After all, the more knowledge we possess, the more likely we are to tackle any
challenge we ever face. Many educators still struggle to understand their evolving role and how
technology is shifting in education. Some have even questioned why it is necessary to incorporate
technology into education when students already spend so much time staring at smart phones and
computer

Learning From Traditional Classroom And Learning
I have experience in both learning from the traditional classroom and learning from the online
setting. I can easily identify the differences between these two types of learning environments. The
two main differences can be divided by two categories which are flexibility and class discussions
(Bethel University, n.d.)
?There is far less flexibility in a traditional classroom (Bethel University, n.d.). As a formal student
of a traditional classroom learning environment, I had to physically drive to the college, carry my
textbooks everywhere, and attend class at a designated day and time each week. Since I didn't have
any children, I didn't have to be concerned with finding a babysitter (Bethel University, n.d.). At the
end of each school day, I had to pay for parking as I exited the campus parking garage. Online
learning can be conducted anytime and anywhere that has internet connection. The greater
flexibility involved with online learning can cause a lot of stress to a student. It would be easy for a
student to forget the weekly deadlines and the upcoming schedules (Bethel, University, n.d.).
"Students can suffer from a perceived lack of guidance, may experience isolation, and will likely
have technology issues from time to time."(Bethel University, n.d., p. 7). In an online class
discussion, words can be thought of carefully and edited several times before it is posted
permanently unlike the traditional classroom which can 't be edited after it has

Difference Between Learning And Traditional Classroom
I believe the major difference between learning in a traditional classroom versus an online
environment is flexibility. In traditional classrooms, they provide a structured environment in which
one learns. The student shows up at a particular time; the instructor presents the information, the
student takes the information and tests to see whether he or she retained the information.
(Chambers, 2016)
One benefit to the traditional classroom is face to face interactions. Being in a traditional classroom
setting is comfortable because that 's the environment that most of us remember from childhood.
Now online classes are typical for those of us who work different shifts and people with hectic
lifestyles.
With the flexibility of online classes, one works at his convenience. The ability to stop and continue
later while not being locked into a particular time or day is beneficial to the working adult. Not
having to get dressed, travel to a location, and arrive at an appropriate time takes a lot of stress off
an individual that works and has children. Being able to communicate one on one with your
instructor privately and online resources at your fingertips like the library are other differences.
However just like everything else with benefits, there must also be some obstacles. Some challenges
I see to online learning include self–discipline, new technology, and time management skills. Being
able to work at your convenience is great, but if you don 't, discipline yourself to do

How did your learning in this live session compare with your experience in learning on your own in
the course or in a traditional classroom? I believe that the learning in this live lesson is very similar
to that of a traditional classroom. I also feel that the environment is better in many ways, for
example nobody is causing a distraction because we are all working from our own separate work
spaces. I also feel that the live lesson offers a better environment and way for things to get done
quicker than a regular classroom.
Describe your comfort level in participating in the collaboration activity. My comfort level on a

How did the use of technology affect your learning experience during the session? The use of
technology definitely affected my learning experience. Because without it none of us would be able
to participate in the live lesson. But it also offered us so many different tools, such as the ability to

  • 2. The Difference Between Online Learning And Traditional... The differences seem to be profound and similar at the same time with online learning and traditional classroom education . The online tool of technology has the relationship of human and machine conversing , working as a unit , impersonal , with a no interaction as with a human being as teacher . In that reality the teaching basically is deleted where the student is teaching their selves to a certain extent with learning also. With this you only find information that is updated for the learning experience of the student , this is the similarity with classroom learning .For the teacher also gives information also derived from updated curriculum works . The traditional classroom has advantages . They have a personality each to its own that can be expressed from faculty and student alike . That shows the personal side to education . Their is someone to set the rules and guidelines to follow ,there is someone to look up to ,there are others to interact with face to face with for seeing the reaction to that interaction. With online learning there is the advantage of scheduling with the student being able to learn at the pace they can more proficient with . The classroom student has to adhere to the rules set by the instructor no matter the students priorities . The overall learning ability of the student is the best determining factor with the opportunities afforded to students today . The choices that can determined by prospective students today is outstanding . I feel ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Learning Online And Traditional Classroom Setting During my educational journey I have experienced learning online and in a traditional classroom setting. Working in a classroom allowed me to receive a more hands on approach with my learning from my instructor. Learning in person helped me to seek help if I was confused, ask questions, and receive a response immediately. Upon completing my work assignments, I was able to work side by side with my classmates and collaborate, and work as a team. Most importantly, everything is at your fingertips such as your class material and a physical textbook. In addition, in a classroom setting you are able to take quizzes and tests that will help you retain the information by answering the questions. However, learning online is totally a different ball game. When learning online most of the time there is no test or quizzes involved, you work at your own pace, and the only material you will need is your computer. Working at your own pace helps because, it allows you to work ahead and complete your assignments according to your own schedule and not having to wait on your instructor. A great advantage to learning online is, not having to travel to a physical classroom. Your work is available at any time of the day. Everything I needed was in my computer so I didn't have to keep up with any material or purchase any. However, learning online, helps you to focus more with fewer distractions around you, but leaves you limitless to help when you need it. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Traditional Classroom Learning in a traditional classroom requires you to get up and get ready by a certain time. You must find a sitter, if needed, as well as find a job that will work around you school schedule. If you have a doctor appointment or need to do something important, you must miss class for that. You have to find the extra time to do your makeup work and anything that you missed. Learning in an online setting, lets you work on the everyday task. If you have a job that requires you to work long hours; you can come home after a day of work and go online to start your class. You have the options to work ahead a little on the online course, compared to a traditional class where you can only work on assignments handed out at the time. Online classes give ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I, myself, have found that I do try to multi–task with several different things in a days time. I find that if you focus on one thing at a time, it helps you understand it better. I plan on working towards just doing one thing at a time; by first learning not to rush things so I have time to do it. With kids, and work at times, it is hard to just sit down and focus on one certain thing at a time. When it comes to focusing on school work, I find that it is best to find somewhere quiet and calm to do your work. Although I have a hard time doing this at times, I know the importance of focusing on one thing. When you try to do more than one thing, you tend to let some things slip. As an adult with kids, you try to do as much as possible in a short amount of time. At times, you will forget about something or overlook something, all because you were multi–tasking. In order to succeed, I feel as though you should only focus on one thing/item at a time. In order to do so, you must make time in your day/agenda. If I can learn anything aside from Criminal Justice, it is to be able to focus on one thing at a time, and not multi–task. As many adults when you multi–task, you think that you are getting more accomplished, but in the long run, you end up having to go back over some of the things you already ... • 5. Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom Learning Online Learning vs. Traditional Classroom Learning Crystal I. Grimes Grimes9892@mail.philau.edu IT–201 Professor Jim Greene Abstract: Technology has had and imperative influence in almost every aspect of life. It has also made an impact on how we learn today. Some question how effective learning could be via the internet, while most stick with the familiarity of traditional classroom learning. Either option you choose still substantiates that technology has changed the way we learn and will continue to expand on its influences with the ways we choose to progress educationally. Each educational platform has it disadvantages, however the advantages pose alternatives that can suit an individual's educational needs. With technology influencing almost every aspect of common activities, it's not unusual for it to influence the way we learn. The traditional classroom environment is being challenged with the implementation of online learning. With major technological advances over the last 20 years, many traditional classroom environments have been replaced with online learning platforms that create convenient, accelerated, and comprehensive learning opportunities around the world. Although some would beg the differ that online learning can replace classroom education completely, online education continues to improve allowing it to become a more trustworthy alternative for learning. • 6. The Importance Of The Flipped Classroom The motivation to examine the flipped classroom as a theme of investigation originates from this present creator's advantage and mastery in utilizing innovation and how it can be utilized to draw in and upgrade the classroom condition today. Most secondary school seniors were conceived and grew up concurrent with the introduction of cell phones, youtube, myspace, facebook, snapchat and instagram. With the advances in innovation regularly, one starts to contemplate what is the eventual future of education. Flipped classroom turned into an enthusiasm of mine since it includes utilizing online videos and it can possibly furnish educators with additional time in the classroom to provide learning experiences that will reinforce the skills needed by the 21st Century student. Why the Flipped Classroom Research has demonstrated that the classroom educator can have the largest impact on gains in student learning (Marzano, Pickering, & Pollack, 2001). Marzano et al. (2001) provided teachers with many different research–based strategies for increasing student achievement. In later research, (Marzano, 2007) went on to say, "Arguably, keeping students engaged is one of the most important considerations for the classroom teacher" (Marzano, 2007 p. 98). He additionally states that engaging students have become increasingly difficult with the "influence of a society with fast paced media and video games." (Marzano, 2007 p. 98) Marzano provided educators with many different ideas for the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is no longer just a tool for the outside world, but one with which we can use to teach ourselves. Whether it be computers, or hand–held devices, schools around the nations have been moving towards a paperless environment. I believe this is a change for the better. Technology provides opportunities that before would never have been thinkable. I live in a small town with a population of about one–thousand. It is safe to say that our school does not have as many opportunities as schools in big cities. • 8. How Is Online Learning Different From A Traditional Classroom Online learning is much different from the traditional classroom settings. Aside from the obvious location differences, there are pros and cons to online learning that are very different from a classroom. A student must be willing to embrace these differences to successfully move forward and excel in the online environment. One of the things in online learning that is important is establishing your classroom. With a traditional class, the classroom and times are designated to the student. In an online environment, it is up to the student to determine the when and where. It is important to remember that all of your classes take place on the computer and even your book can be found there. It is the student 's responsibility to make this work for themselves. Part of being able to excel in learning is setting up a time and a place where you will be able to make learning work for you. This also relates to good time management. Let those around you know when you will be in class so that they do not disturb you during this time. With a designated time and place set aside, a student can begin to schedule their days around when they have time to get their classwork completed. Another huge element to online learning is communication. The instructor is located at a remote location and the student does not have face time with them. The student will need to learn to reach out through messages or phone calls. This is essential when learning online. The student may also ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The “Modern” Classroom. If You Were To Ask A Group Of People THE "MODERN" CLASSROOM If you were to ask a group of people of varying ages today to describe the word "classroom", you would unsurprisingly get a similar response from a majority of the crowd. A box shaped room with rows of small, confining desks, and a whiteboard or chalkboard front and center of the room. The funny thing is that if you were to ask the same question 200 years ago, you would probably get the same response. Why does the classroom of the 21st century look so similar to the classrooms of the 1800's? Have we really gone nearly two centuries without changing our educational environment? The answer, sadly, is yes. However, there are many who believe the classroom needs a major update, and I would have to agree. Although many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... "Too many of our teachers are using 21st century technology with 19th century pedagogy with teaching styles and classroom management techniques that haven't changed much since my grandparents were in school... many schools still employ "top–down one size fits all" teaching methods where learning is based on how many hours kids spend in class rather than what skills and insights they acquire" (Magid) Personally, these classes left me having to make extra time not only to review and study the material, but to make sense of it at the most basic level. On the other hand, I have taken several online classes that have been less traditional, and more technology driven. However, there were a few problems that arose with these courses: the lack of immediate contact to the instructor; and the lack of interaction with my classmates. If I had a question I wasn't guaranteed immediate feedback. "Online interaction can be equally as stimulating, but it can also make you feel like you are all alone in your coursework because of the inherent lack of physical presence" (Florida National University). Ultimately this would hinder my learning process, along with the urge to procrastinate on my virtual assignments without the push of a real instructor made online classes a little challenging. However, some of the best classes that I have taken have been ones that were a combination of both traditional and online learning. They were less ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Online Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom When a person thinks of someone going to college they probably imagine them walking across a large campus or sitting in a lecture hall among other students. While this is the way many people do choose to attend college, there are also those who have chosen to get their degree in an online setting. Online learning gives people the opportunity to get their education in a way that is more flexible and can fit in with their daily lives. Though both are reputable forms of higher educations, there are distinct differences between learning in a tradition classroom and learning in an online setting. The most obvious difference in online learning versus traditional classroom learning is the setting. Traditionally, students would gather in a classroom where they would take notes, listen to lectures, turn in work, and take exams. Online learning, on the other hand, can take place in multiple locations at various times. Online college programs, like Bethels, give more flexibility to students because there are no set times for lectures. Videos of lectures and other important information relating to the class can be viewed at any time and they can also be viewed as often as needed. Because these lectures are constantly available, student can view the videos and reading material multiple times in order to get a better understanding of the class. Books are also commonly available within the online classroom, giving students even more access (Bethel University, 2014). Online learning is a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Richard Rodriguez’s Challenging The Traditional Classroom... Education is a wonderful asset to anyone. With a good one the sky is the limit, and without one opportunity may never come knocking. In today's society, so much emphasis is put on education. How many times have we heard the saying "if you get a good education, you'll get a good job and make a lot of money"? Even today, my parents remind me of how much a college degree would add to my marketability. But when does it become too much? Is it possible that one could overlook the more important values in life in search to become a "learned man"? In Richard Rodriguez's story Challenging The Traditional Classroom he examines his life as a student, and the affects his learning has towards his attitude about family and heritage. Rodriguez is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As Rodriguez became more involved with his academics he drifted further away from his family. The intimacy once shared between them was disappearing. "He takes his first step toward academic success, away from his family.". His family also understood the importance of education, as his siblings did well in school, but were never "so anxious about their schooling". Upon making sure that her children learned English, Rodriguez's mother would tell them to maintain their Spanish. This was obviously a hint to the children to remember their culture. While soaking in all his academics, Rodriguez intentionally abandons his culture. He makes it obvious that he wants nothing to do with his heritage by imitating the accents and diction of his teachers. He also doesn't participate in family gatherings, which is evident when he tells us, "Nights when relatives visited and the front rooms were warmed by Spanish sounds, I slipped quietly out of the house". Rodriguez actually uses his academics to move further away from his culture. He believes that being educated in academics will truly make him successful, and "like his teachers". It's sad to think that one could put so much focus on education, and not see the importance of family and heritage. These two things are what make us who we are, and despite what we go through, they will remain unchanged (in most cases). Rodriguez learns this lesson first hand when he realizes the error in his ... • 13. Traditional Classroom Learning Vs. Online Education Vs. Online Education Pauline Nguyen English 240 Professor Jawad Ali Traditional Classroom Learning Vs. Online Education Education is becoming one of the most essential things in a person's life. Nowadays, many individuals are looking to go the extra mile and further their education. This is because numerous employers require a degree and a significant amount of experience in order to become eligible for certain occupations. The next question to consider is how to go about this. Younger adults with minimal responsibilities unquestionably have a broader range of options. As for working adults who have kids and obligations that hold them back, attending classes multiple times a week may seem tough and out of the question. Thankfully, the progression of technology has had a major impact on education. The implementation of education was only in a traditional setting before this advancement of technology. Currently, this has altered. With the outburst of the technology industry in the past 15 years, online education has helped people from all walks of life continue and further their education. This ultimately leaves us with a concern on the quality of the education provided. There are several things to consider when choosing which route one should pursue. Before committing to any specific degree program, one should weigh and evaluate their options based on what is important and vital to them. • 14. The Flipped Classroom Experience Technologies have its own share of advantages and disadvantages. Technology can be a boon in disguise or it can work in opposite way. In past, several learning institutes have tried applying new and latest technologies to enhance the teaching experience. Technology needs to be analysed methodically to estimate the benefits. The technology we discussed and recommend includes Webex, classroom recording which facilitate collaborative online interactive sessions. These technology have played important role in making teaching more flexible and beneficial to students and teachers. Many universities across the world have started using online interactive sessions for teaching. This is also known as online tutoring or online course. As of now, major US universities including MIT and Harvard are offering online courses. It has its own unique selling point of location flexibility. It has been successfully tried across the world to give more value to students and make education truly global globalized. This can be also used to have mix of both worlds. Not just online or full recorded classroom videos but something that gives a better learning experience. It is also called as Flipped learning. Flipped learning is combination of online teaching and recorded video sessions, which students watch usually at home and homework is now completed in the class with interaction from teachers and collaboration of students. • 15. Traditional Teaching And Traditional Learning Approach In... In a flipped learning approach, lecture and homework are switched. Students watch lectures at home prior to class and class time is spent expanding on content through collaborative learning and content exercises. This model moves the learning environment from teacher centered to student centered, allowing students to become responsible for their learning environment. The teacher takes a step back and has the students take over the reins in the classroom. Instead of showing the students what to do, the teacher would guide and mentor them in order for them to be able to draw their own conclusions and produce their own outcomes. For a flipped learning approach to work, everyone must be on board. There are several benefits to flipped learning versus the traditional teaching model. A traditional classroom is teacher–centered, doesn't foster deep learning and is filled with passive learners. A flipped classroom, is learner centered, promotes deeper learning and filled with active learners. Not all flipped classrooms are the same. There are different types of models that support specific classroom and student needs. In a standard flipped classroom, students are assigned video lectures to watch at home, along with readings. During class, they practice what they learned via individual or group activities. A discussion–oriented flipped classroom has a similar set–up, except that class time is spent on discussion and deeper exploration of the topic. Finally, in an in–flipped ... Essay on Distance Learning vs. the Traditional Classroom Distance Learning vs. the Traditional Classroom Non–traditional students are finding it easier and easier to maintain a job, a family, and pursuing a college career at the same time. This is possible because more and more non–traditional students are receiving an education using distance learning, as opposed to traditional, in–the–classroom teaching. Distance learning is basically taking college level, credit–bearing courses via the Internet. One of the most obvious advantages of distance learning is that it puts the classroom in your home, office, or wherever you can find a computer and log on to the Internet. This is because the student is allowed to get a "feel" for the class. Distance learning does not provide the advantage of building a strong academic or interpersonal relationship with your Instructor. It also does not allow you to express your individuality in the classroom. Distance learning is more of a multimedia–type learning than anything else. This is because distance learning is accomplished via the Internet. Receiving instruction via the Internet is analogous to receiving instruction to, say, a CD ROM. Distance learning is not the best way to receive instruction. It could be that my bias is for traditional classroom learning because that is all that I have know all my life. I cannot fully comprehend how effective can learning over the Internet truly be. However, at the same time we have to focus on why some students decide that taking a web course is the best choice for them. A non–traditional student, as defined by the Buffalo State College 1999–2000 Catalog is a person who waits one full year to attend college after graduating high school or one that decides to attend college after his or her twenty–third birthday. Statistics show that the majority of non–traditional students are employed. Many have children to look after. Many non–traditional students have jobs that would normally interfere with ... Homeschooling And Traditional Classroom Education Compare and Contrast Homeschooling and Traditional Classroom Education People can choose to get homeschooling or not in the 1970s, some famous writer started write relative innovation at the same time ("Homeschooling 101", 2012). There are now more than two million children being homeschooled in the U.S., with the percentage rapidly increasing by 7 percent to 15 percent each year, according to the National Home Education Research Institute ("Homeschooling 101," 2012). Maybe we can find that homeschooling is becoming more popular than traditional school, but the truth is, most children still choose to study in traditional school. We could not ignore that it is hard and laborious for parents to teach their own child at home, although the child could learn a great deal under the homeschooling. If they send their child to traditional school, more time could be saved and the parent could improve themselves and be an example for their child. For instance, participating in the activities with other kids and learning from them for comparison. Furthermore, attending traditional school could save a ton of money for kids to use it on other skill learning. Whatever the parent decides to do either the homeschooling or send their children to the traditional school, there is no denying that children can learn things. Every one dreams to get a Harvard education but only a selected few will reach the traditional class room style enrollment. But the dream remains a dream for many and the only way to get the Harvard or MIT education to everyone is distance education. If not Harvard even mass education of the society is not easy and the distance education is the only way to do that. Despite many advantages and disadvantages of distance education I choose to discuss three main groups which are involved in the distance learning. The first group is institution, second one is faculty and the third is students. The institutions which offer a distance education need not build a big building to accommodate number of students, only need a small studio to telecast the class and that is enough to reach larger audience, eliminates the commuting costs and promote green revolution. On the other hand, the institution must acquire state of the art technology for a seamless and un–interruptive transmission of lecture which might require heavy investment in the beginning. The faculty might not be trained to teach before a camera and initially they may not perform well. Finally, the student may not be motivated or vigilant to grasp the lecture easily because of remote nature of the class and the students may have missing physical component of the instruction. For example, a student cannot get eye contact of a professor while teaching to show a gesture to initiate a question. • 19. Teacher Reflection In Chapter three of the readings Atwell discusses the importance of setting the tone and establishing structure, organization, and routines during the first week of class. She explains that as a teacher a lot of time is put into preparation for the first week of school because she wants the students to leave excited about the class, the material and her as a teacher, which helps set the tone for the rest of the yr. In addition, she mentioned that it is equally important for her to establish "her role as a teacher, writer, reader of books, responder to literature, and a lover and unpacker of poems" (Atwell,2015). I believe that anybody that has ever worked with children, whether it be in the classroom or coaching sports would agree with her position about establishing a firm foundation and routine during the first week or the beginning of every week, because it will carry on throughout the course of the year or week. The last thing you as a teacher or coach want to do is to scare or intimidate the students, hurt their confidence, or make them dread coming to your class. I don't think that's any teacher's real intension, although it happens all too often. Have you had an experience with a teacher who hurt your confidence or that made you dislike the subject or class? Unfortunately, I have had many teachers whom acted as though they just didn't care about the students or our success, and that attitude from our teacher/leadership person truly does rub off on the students. I had one science teacher in high school, Miss Whitney whom was very abrasive yet passionate about the subject to the point of overcomplicating the assignments and confusing the students. I still dislike science to this day and I believe it stems from that experience. The unfortunate thing is that it only takes one bad experience for a student to shut down and withdraw from the classroom activities, so in my opinion it is very important for the teacher not only to care about the student's success, but also recognize much like Atwell that they need to change the way they are doing things to get kids more engaged in the materials, and accept the fact that hands on enjoyment and fun activities are just as effective learning tools as traditional ... • 20. The Negative Effects Of Technology In Schools This paper explores the addition of technology in schools and effects it has on students. The purpose of the research was to reveal that the positives of adding technology outweigh the negatives. Technology has the power to enhance learning for students and to overall create a better learning experience for everyone. This is proven by showing examples of schools that have already implemented technology in the classroom and the positive results that came with it, as well as the negatives and worries many people have with technology, and how to avoid it. Overall the research has shown that students have a better time learning with the addition of technology, and that negatives of technology can be easily avoided. In today's society, technology plays a major role in the way people operate in their daily lives. It is being used as a tool for people to improve their surroundings by having quick and easy access to a large amount of information anytime they want. With the rapid growth, schools and teachers around the world have implemented many different forms of technology to enhance student interest and achievement. This has entered into teaching methods such as online testing, online reading assignments, research information and many others. The use of technology in school nowadays has become inevitable, but some may argue that this increased use has harmed the development and learning of the students. People understand and learn in different ways and paces, including education because there is a variety of ways students can interpret what is being taught. The flipped classroom is one of the ways students can get information differently from what they experience in a modern day classroom. The flipped classroom allows the teacher to give their lessons to the students at home through the computer and the students can do their homework in the actual classroom. This allows for students to work at their own leisure and not disturb the flow of the class for anyone else. The flipped classroom should be seen as a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These videos were such a big hit, Khan quit his job to make the Khan Academy, a nonprofit online educational platform that holds many videos containing lectures on a variety of topics. The Khan Academy is used by many schools today and has proven to be successful to most classrooms as students are able to grasp the concept easily and effectively ("A Teaching Innovation") (Schmidt). While vastly different to traditional schooling, the flipped classroom is an innovation that benefit can every student throughout school. The flipped classroom can be beneficial as they help students work at their own leisure and help give students a better understanding without disrupting the class. With the information in class readily available at home, the students can look over and analyze the lesson and get their own interpretation of the information. If they have any questions, they can simply ask their teacher when they are given the assignment in class. Since the teacher will not be giving a lecture in the actual classroom, he or she will be available to answer questions students may have about the information they received at home (Schmidt). The students have more time to analyze that data and get their own interpretation of the information thus giving a better understanding of the information as a whole. • 22. Classroom Reflection 2. I am an activist. Walking into ETST 111 on the first day I was excited to critically analyze the history and repercussion of predominate movements that have undoubtedly affected the way in which society works today. Moreover, I was intrigued as to how my previous work as an activist will translate in my academic strives to understand what great movement building concepts are. The simple congregation of the class serves as a median to begin dialogue. I was curious to see how the structure of the class was going to mediate the aforesaid. In this part of the assignment, I will critically analyze how effective and ineffective the course structure, content, format, grading and decision–making process was for the class: The structure of the classroom is designed about an enclosed four wall space, where each breadth is shorter and deeper than the one before, is claustrophobic and impossible. The state has indoctrinated us to believe that the optimal learning experience is held inside impacted classrooms that have a disproportionate teach to student ratio. This phenomenon is clearly seen in our own classroom, where the own classroom that we are assigned for the quarter was specifically designed to facilitate discussion through different resources allocated throughout the room which in return remained useless due to the impacted tables implemented in the classroom to accommodate an overcrowded upper division class. I critique the space we were assigned to because for the whole quarter the class was structured mainly around class discussion. I found the whole situation an oxymoron simply because the setting conflicted with the structure of class. Specifically, I often felt disconnected with the class because for the most part I could faintly hear my pears discoursing their opinion as I stared directly into the back of their heads. Instead of the intent listening and intense eye contact that should be used to maximize efficient dialogue and conversation, so for the most part the table arrangement ineffectively allowed for meaningful conversation that incorporated all the students in the class. • 23. Classroom Vs Traditional Classroom In life there are always positive and negative things in life, there are always two sides to look at. In this case I'm talking about whether I think that traditional classroom setting is better for the students or if online is better. I know I'm about to contradict myself but honestly there is no right or wrong way with going with the classroom setting. I say that because some kids learn faster or are more educated in some things which is completely normal, no one is the same. Some kid's need that more personal or one on one learning because there are some kids that need. Sometimes it just works out for the family best, for example my parents travel a lot and for me to go to a traditional classroom I depended on my parents to drive me to school every day because I don't live close for the bus to pick me up and take me to school. There were many other reasons like the people I associated myself with because they were the people I met my freshman year. I realized that the people I was hanging out with were not people that I had things in common with. My freshman year I was as my 7th grade teacher said "I was a follower not a leader". Which is crazy to think because if anyone personally knows me they know I do not like when people boss me around, if I were to work I would rather be the boss and not the employee. People think a lot of bad things about me because my dad is a business owner and that is all I've ever seen him do. Which has create this monster inside of me that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The key is finding the one that will be most efficient for your learning. I would say online learning is more hard because I think there is a lot of unnecessary 1busy work assigned in my personal opinion than a classroom setting. Online learning has advantages as well such as being in the convenience of one's own home and having the flexibility to an individual to watch the class lectures on their own schedule. On the other hand, the traditional classroom setting is what people have been custom to until online learning was designed. Being in the classroom has its advantages as well for example one has the ability to engage and get immediate feedback from the educator and socialize with the other classmates in a traditional classroom setting. Secondly, the hands on training rather than computer training can be a plus for hands on learners. All and all, with online learning having great flexibility and the traditional classroom having immediate interaction with the professor and students, which ever one an individual chooses to learn each one has their perks to get the best education for future enhancement. We are told as children that college is the only way to obtain a good job and secure our future. Once a student has decided to pursue. The traditional learning experience is sold as we tour campuses. This is the way higher education has been completed since its inception. Society has evolved and so has the ways to obtain higher learning. Students now have the option to complete their learning online, as well as, the traditional route. Online learning has been looked at as a lower level of learning, compared to the traditional classroom setting. I believe that online learning has now evolved to the level that it is equal to the traditional classroom setting. I also believe that online learning adds additional benefits to students when used in conjunction with traditional learning. To better understand this, a knowledge of the different settings will need to be explained. The traditional setting is where a student sits in a classroom and learns from an instructor during lecture and demonstration. Bo Keum Choi, of the Institute for Whole Person Education with Sogang University, and Ellen L. Park, of the Baird University College at SoongSil University, (2014), state "The traditional college classroom design is based on the educational space that first appeared in medieval universities. The Flipped Classroom Essay The Benefits of the Flipped Classroom for the 21st Century Student Introduction The motivation to examine the flipped classroom as a theme of investigation originates from this present creator's advantage and mastery in utilizing innovation and how it can be utilized to draw in and upgrade the classroom condition today. 98). He additionally states that engaging students have become increasingly difficult with the "influence of a society with fast paced media and video games." ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 27. Integrating Technology Within The Classroom Literature Review In the last few decades, there has been a push for integrating technology within the classroom. Technologies has become commonly associated with the activities of everyday life, as a result, there has been increased pressure to include technology in classrooms, kindergarten through twelfth grade since the 1980s. (page #?Grant et al., 2015). This technology push has only increased since the last century; educators are no longer responsible for teaching the 'traditional' reading, writing, and arithmetic pedagogy of the past. In respect, students are no longer viewed in the same 'blank slates,' but as collaborators in their learning. This collaboration is effective in preparing students for the job market of the future, in which these technologies will be ever present and constantly changing. In the 21st century, teachers and students have access to a constantly evolving series of technologies which has facilitated a continued interest in how to use these types of technology in educational environments. Through the incorporation of educational technology models and theories, the practitioner's focus is specifically on how technology can be used to improve student performance through processes, procedures, and tools. Processes and procedures may comprise any task or intervention involving anything from a simple instructional strategy to a complex instructional system. (Wade et al., 2013). As, a student is making that choice it is critical that they choose the best learning environment that allows them to meets their individual needs. Regardless of the choice in education type we make in order to succeed we need to be focused, dedicated, and motivated. There are others who argued that Traditional classes can be crowded; students multiple learning approaches are not met, and there is the "one size fits all" approach that attempts to force students to learn in the same way. On the other hand, online teaching offers students various benefits such as; schedule flexible, ease of accessibility, range of options, and control over study time. More and more people, especially these days have been enrolling in online classes, due to the new technology being released. Online classes have been at lower quality because of 3 reasons: how easy it is to cheat on them, the amount of money being put into them is outrageous, and how small amount of control the professors have. Others might say, "I like online classes because the class schedule is very flexible and I can work it into my schedule." While that is true, online classes fail to give you is face–to–face communication." In Source B, the text states that, "Online classes offer flexibility for sure. If students feel less invested, they will tend to lose their sense of perseverance, or their will to accomplish something. Both of these teachers experimented with their teaching style by assigning videos of their classroom lectures for homework and using classroom instruction time to work interactively with students who were either having difficulty understanding the material or had the ability to work ahead. After reporting on their success, others have tried this method in their classrooms. Although the results are varied, there is a willingness on the part of teachers to experiment with this model both in the United States and overseas. Advances in technology have made it possible for the instruction to move beyond teacher delivered material in class followed by a review of the material by students in the form of homework (Steed, 2012). In theory, if the students are in control of the pace of their learning, their outcomes will be better. Students, who are able to absorb new material at home, will come to class prepared to put the knowledge into practice and thus reinforce the new material. The flipped classroom (Bergman & Sams, 2012; Bull, et. al., 2012) involves the presentation of the new material via a video lecture which students will watch at home prior to coming to class. Time in the classroom can then be dedicated to putting the material into use, creating an environment of understanding by doing. Although success with this format has been reported in some subject areas by some teachers, the concept has not been widely studied over a long enough period of time to give conclusive data on student learning using this method (Herreid & Schiller, 2013; Moran, 2015). The review of literature was conducted in an effort to answer the following questions regarding the flipped classroom: 1. Do students who normally have trouble with homework assignments demonstrate increased achievement when they watch lectures at home and then do the written assignments in school? 2. Do ... One of the more important choices is where you plan to take your classes. Online classes are becoming increasingly popular because they can be easier to fit into a busy schedule, but some people still argue that nothing beats a traditional classroom setting. Having the option of online classes makes continuing an education more appealing to people that have to balance many other responsibilities like family, jobs, etc. Online classes and the traditional classroom setting both offer many of the same advantages. They both provide the student with the same course content so there is no loss of curriculum between the two. Both demand the same time investment for learning, studying, taking exams, completing papers, and so on. Although it seems easy to think that with doing all of your school work online there isn't any personal interaction with professors and peers, however, that is a common misconception. Online classes, like traditional ones, require a degree of contact with your peers and professors. It may not be as personal interaction as raising your hand and being called on, but you can e–mail your professor at any time and there are discussion boards and forums available for fellow students to communicate and help each other out. Traditional Classroom Education Imagine waking up, eating breakfast, going to school, and completing your course work without leaving the comfort of your home or even your pajamas. The idea of attending school online and at personal convenience is an option that many high school and college students have difficulty passing up. In today's education system, students have the option to attend school in a traditional classroom setting or attend online in the comfort of their own homes. Both options have their benefits. However, in most cases, a traditional classroom education better prepares students K–12 for their futures by encouraging self–discipline and communication between teachers and peers. Online learning, also known as distance learning, is growing rapidly throughout the United States. The 2012 survey of online learning determined that "the number of students taking at least one online course has now surpassed 6.7 million" (Online Learning Consortium, 2012). With the 2014 online learning statistics being released on February 5, it is expected that the number of students has grown significantly in the past two years and is only set to increase into 2015. A traditional classroom setting exposes students to what it will be like in their future workplace. In a classroom, students are expected to communicate face to face with their peers and teachers. • 34. Online Classroom Vs. Traditional Brick And Mortar Classroom The first distinction between learning in an online classroom versus that of a traditional brick and mortar classroom is that of time. Students log into their virtual classroom at times of their choosing to learn and complete assignments. The virtual campus that we use has click functions that are set up like a regular classroom. These functions mimic interactions between course facilitators and students in traditional settings. V camp has an announcements section like a bulletin board on a campus. We receive short notices from the facilitator such as reminders, updates to schedules or other need to know information that doesn't require an email campaign from the faculty. The attend section allows you watch your professor or facilitator deliver the lesson in lecture format. This, in particular, will remind traditional learning students of sitting in a classroom. One thing that is good about a recorded lecture is you can immediately replay a section that you failed to understand and gain the knowledge that you require which may have been missed in a regular classroom setting. The profiles section allows you meet your classmates and see if any live near you to see if you can study together. The discuss section of the program lets you carry on open dialogue with your classmates. Each student is required to answer the same question regarding a section of the course in a certain format and reply to two other classmate's posts. This requirement allows for a dialogue between ... Attending A Traditional Classroom Setting I have been fortunate enough to attend college in a traditional classroom setting as well as an online setting; I can say for my academic journey the online setting better suited my learning type. When I graduated high school I went to a traditional university, I did not do well and ended withdrawing and failing classes. I attended an online university a few years later and found that it was a lot more conducive to my learning style. The traditional college setting may be better suited for students that may need more structure for learning. Sitting in a classroom with a professor telling you exactly what assignments are, and when they are due is needed for some students. In a traditional college setting the professor will stand in front of the class and give a lecture, at times this lecture will be far from what is needed and filled with those professors' personal opinions. Then at a time where you will be given an exam, the material was given is nothing of what the professor lectured on. So in essence, the student will have to sit and listen to a professor lecture and then do their own reading and research. When attending an online program, the student is responsible for making the time to read, study, and complete the necessary work. • 36. The Effects Of Digital And Traditional On The Classroom Many adults think that because children and young adults have immersed in technology at a young age, they are naturally literate or skilled in using technology. Younger generations have been labeled as "digital native" or "tech savvy" individuals. Unfortunately, this labeling is not as true as most believe. Today's students are no more literate with digital devices than their parents are. Digital literacy requires a much broader spectrum of skills than traditional reading requires. Skills that must be taught and obtained through practice and repetition. Some teachers have recognized these skills as critical for the new millennium and are now finding ways to incorporate them into classrooms; by providing digital reading materials. However, it is important that we find a balance between traditional and digital reading. Reading is an extremely important part of learning and should be altered cautiously. Using digital and traditional readings in the classroom will be the most effective way to build a wide variety of skills that are essential and will offer a much greater opportunity to gain knowledge. After all, the more knowledge we possess, the more likely we are to tackle any challenge we ever face. • 37. Learning From Traditional Classroom And Learning I have experience in both learning from the traditional classroom and learning from the online setting. I can easily identify the differences between these two types of learning environments. The two main differences can be divided by two categories which are flexibility and class discussions (Bethel University, n.d.) ?There is far less flexibility in a traditional classroom (Bethel University, n.d.). As a formal student of a traditional classroom learning environment, I had to physically drive to the college, carry my textbooks everywhere, and attend class at a designated day and time each week. Since I didn't have any children, I didn't have to be concerned with finding a babysitter (Bethel University, n.d.). At the end of each school day, I had to pay for parking as I exited the campus parking garage. Online learning can be conducted anytime and anywhere that has internet connection. The greater flexibility involved with online learning can cause a lot of stress to a student. It would be easy for a student to forget the weekly deadlines and the upcoming schedules (Bethel, University, n.d.). "Students can suffer from a perceived lack of guidance, may experience isolation, and will likely have technology issues from time to time."(Bethel University, n.d., p. 7). • 38. Difference Between Learning And Traditional Classroom I believe the major difference between learning in a traditional classroom versus an online environment is flexibility. In traditional classrooms, they provide a structured environment in which one learns. The student shows up at a particular time; the instructor presents the information, the student takes the information and tests to see whether he or she retained the information. (Chambers, 2016) One benefit to the traditional classroom is face to face interactions. Being in a traditional classroom setting is comfortable because that 's the environment that most of us remember from childhood. Now online classes are typical for those of us who work different shifts and people with hectic lifestyles. With the flexibility of online classes, one works at his convenience. The ability to stop and continue later while not being locked into a particular time or day is beneficial to the working adult. Not having to get dressed, travel to a location, and arrive at an appropriate time takes a lot of stress off an individual that works and has children. Being able to communicate one on one with your instructor privately and online resources at your fingertips like the library are other differences. However just like everything else with benefits, there must also be some obstacles. Some challenges I see to online learning include self–discipline, new technology, and time management skills. Being able to work at your convenience is great, but if you don 't, discipline yourself to do ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
