SKIN - INTRODUCTION
• Skin -important and largest organ that constitute 15% of body weight
• Skin type directly reflects the persons confidence and professionalism
• Cosmetology – upcoming field in the last century
• Fashion (science of appearance) and make up rituals must go hand in
hand
• Based on the type of skin the products will be selected
ITEMS BAD FOR SKIN
Not knowing about skin care and products available
eg –pimple, blemishes- age, pregnancy will bring in - natural
1. Excessive use of mobile and wifi, laptop – harmful rays and heat
2. Stress, depression and tension
3. Avoid : Processed tinned foods, fast foods and foods with high sugar
4. Avoid - 5 whites in food: Maida, Rice, Sugar, Rava, Milk
5. Unhealthy body condition : tablets, medication and fever – result in bad health
6. Oiling technique – choice of oil and soaking technique.
• Avoid direct sunlight / wear sunscreen (as suggested by expert)
Wear 15 minutes before going to sun after 3hours – reapplication is needed
• Wash your skin – moisturise it well
• Don’t use much chemicals (soap)
• Rubbing the face and skin
• Scrubbing your face too much
• Shave properly – using proper cream – method (pre and post) or Waxing
• Water should be warm not hot
• Long bath time in shower – damages the skin

2. Foods with seeds, green, vegetables – good diet plan
3. Water : 1litre/ 20kgs
4. 8 hours sleep
5. Yoga, meditation and work out
6. Cleanliness in oral, skin and in private areas directly

• One spoon of pure ghee in empty stomach – beauty technique
• Hot water intake: moringa tea, black tea, Green tea, yellow tea, black coffee
( all without sugar ) greatly helps.
Higher end tea and coffee varieties : macha tea, garciniea coffee
COFFEE – ANTI AGEING AND MIRACLE PRODUCT.
• Coconut water, moringa and spinach(murunga keerai and pasala keerai), tomatoes,

the skin uniform
 Can go from single to triple layer depending on the
occasion
 Applied using a beauty blender, brush or oval sponge
or just by dabbing in downward direction
 Make-up removal is easy when foundation is applied.

Step 6 : Baking using powder
 A loose setting powder is used
 Powders are first applied in the T zone and under
the eye, and left for 2 minutes and later excess
powder is dusted off.
 This helps in giving good coverage and absorb
excess oil in the face
 Blush : adding pink to the cheeks (hit/miss)
 Bronzer - Contour : adding darker colour – bronze in
selected areas to show depression ((Tanned look ))
 Highlight : replicate the natural light on face by using a
shimmer

 Different types are available as gel, cream,
powder, liquid.
 Uses : Angled brush
 Best: Loreal : wax and the brow powder
 Foundation is applied around the brow to
give definition
Step 8: Completing the eye brow
 Eye liner – many styles one can experiment
 Liquid, pencil, gel are available in many
colours
 Mascaras are used for changing the look of
lash
 TIP: Warm Lash curler can be used
 Artificial lashes are available along with resin

 Lip base (foundation/concealer/lip
liner) is a must to hold lipstick for
long hours
 Outliners have a role to keeping the
lipstick in place. This can be used all
over the lip as a base

SKIN - INTRODUCTION • Skin -important and largest organ that constitute 15% of body weight • Skin type directly reflects the persons confidence and professionalism • Cosmetology – upcoming field in the last century • Fashion (science of appearance) and make up rituals must go hand in hand • Based on the type of skin the products will be selected

  • 5. ITEMS BAD FOR SKIN Not knowing about skin care and products available eg –pimple, blemishes- age, pregnancy will bring in - natural 1. Excessive use of mobile and wifi, laptop – harmful rays and heat 2. Stress, depression and tension 3. Avoid : Processed tinned foods, fast foods and foods with high sugar 4. Avoid - 5 whites in food: Maida, Rice, Sugar, Rava, Milk 5. Unhealthy body condition : tablets, medication and fever – result in bad health 6. Oiling technique – choice of oil and soaking technique.
  • 6. • Avoid direct sunlight / wear sunscreen (as suggested by expert) Wear 15 minutes before going to sun after 3hours – reapplication is needed • Wash your skin – moisturise it well • Don’t use much chemicals (soap) • Rubbing the face and skin • Scrubbing your face too much • Shave properly – using proper cream – method (pre and post) or Waxing • Water should be warm not hot • Long bath time in shower – damages the skin
  • 7. TIPS FOR GOOD SKIN 1. Positive thoughts (connected with hormones) 2. Foods with seeds, green, vegetables – good diet plan 3. Water : 1litre/ 20kgs 4. 8 hours sleep 5. Yoga, meditation and work out 6. Cleanliness in oral, skin and in private areas directly affect the skin 7. Go for regular facials and Spa 8. Proper skin regime

SPECIAL FOODS FOR GOOD SKIN • One spoon of pure ghee in empty stomach – beauty technique • Hot water intake: moringa tea, black tea, Green tea, yellow tea, black coffee ( all without sugar ) greatly helps.
