This proposed study will use a case study method to examine how adult learners describe the influence of social media in the classroom on their education over the past ten years. The study is grounded in constructivism theory, which holds that people construct their own understanding through experiences and reflecting on those experiences. The research could help stakeholders understand how to better incorporate social media into education based on learners' perspectives. The study aims to contribute to the knowledge base on qualitative research regarding the role of social media in adult education.
