This document describes a case study involving a startup bottle manufacturing company called L.A. Bottle Manufacturers and Suppliers. The company had been dumping excessive waste into a nearby river, in violation of IEEE rules. Engineer Arif, a newly appointed employee, was tasked with developing a solution. He proposed that the company throw waste into the river at sustainable levels and recycle the rest using an on-site recycling plant. Specifically, he suggested using PV plastic to make reusable, long-lasting bottles that could be recycled, reducing waste.
