2. SUMMARY
 City Council approved the purchase of two
replacement police vehicles
 Replacing one 2015 Police Interceptor SUV
and one 2016 Police Interceptor SUV

3. BACKGROUND
 Bid invitations were sent to four BuyBoard
registered Ford dealerships
 Three dealerships responded with bids:
 Caldwell Country Ford $67,250
 Four Stars Ford $67,780
 Chastang Ford $71,176
 Caldwell Country Ford was selected from
BuyBoard for the purchase of the vehicles

4. BACKGROUND
 Where available, BuyBoard, TX SmartBuy or
other providers were used for the purchase of
equipment and accessories

5. POLICY ANALYSIS
 The purchase of replacement vehicles from
BuyBoard providers is allowed by City of
Alamo Heights Purchase Policy and Texas law
in lieu of a competitive bid process

6. FISCAL IMPACT
 The cost of the two 2021 Ford Interceptor
SUVs meeting our specifications is $67,250
 budgeted funds $69,180
 The funds to purchase the requested vehicles
were approved in the FY20-21 budget
 scheduled in the Capital Improvement Fund
