2. BACKGROUND
 Dockless vehicle program discussion, May 28,
2019
 Liability insurance requirement question
 Adding allowed hours of operation for
dockless vehicles

3. PROPOSAL
 Amend Ordinance No. 2122
 Reduce required liability coverage to $1million per
occurrence and $2 million annual aggregate
 Restrict dockless vehicle hours of operation to 6:00
AM to 11:00 PM

Code
 Amendments to continue monitoring COSA’s
Ordinance

5. FISCAL IMPACT
 A negative impact is not anticipated or needed
for additional staff
 A positive fiscal impact could be realized by
permit and impound fees applied to shared
active transportation companies
