2. As you can see through my images, my
mastheads are different, but having done
secondary research, I am able to say I am still
following codes and conventions as you
don’t need to have the same font all through
out. Because my mastheads are all different I
made sure that the rest of the fonts I had
used carried on through out.
As you can see, even though the font isn’t the exact
same through out the three products, they are
similar as the effect is always ‘broken’. I followed
the colour scheme, red, black & grey, as this makes
it more professional & also by having a full shot,
then a face close up, then it’ll draw the audience in
more.
Again, on my slogan I used the same font but I
changed the colours, as on my film magazine
its white but on my poster it’s black.
As you can see on this part of magazine, I have
used a different font and this is ‘Arial’ I used this
font because its simple, and it looks good, and
because I have effects on my masthead and film
title it can sometimes be too much if you have a
lot of fonts going on.
Throughout my three products, as you can tell there isn’t a continuity of
fonts, I tried to make sure that they related to each other as much as
possible, and that all the 3 products all together would made sense, and
that my audience would remember the brand. I made sure I followed the
colour scheme through out my products, as even though I did not have a
constant continuity of fonts, my colour scheme matches.
3. Doing secondary research helped me a lot when making my products, as I was Again, I used this example and layout for my film magazine and having done
able to understand that they don’t always follow the font through out. As you some secondary research I can say that it is ok, to have different fonts or
can see they always have the same colour scheme. I feel that if you apply the different colour of fonts, as I have explained before, it’s ok to be creative in
genre on the magazine properly, then in the poster you are able to get more poster as in the magazine you’re making mainly relate with the film genre and
creative, which is what I done with my products. I used ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier making sure that the artist is the main thing on the magazine. I feel that when
Spy’ as my poster example, as I liked that there was writing all over the actors I created the poster I was able to get more creative, as in most examples the
face, it creates mystery. And because my genre is horror I thought that having poster is more elaborate. Therefore I think it’s very important to do secondary
this effect would be perfect, as this would make the audience wonder, and also research, as its helped me a lot along the research and planning process, but it
because of the poster it could suggest that she is insane or in anger in the also helped to understand the conventions better of all three products I have
trailer. So the poster is a teaser for my audience. made.
