2. La investigación cualitativa, conocida también con el
nombre de metodología cualitativa, es un método de
estudio que se propone evaluar, e interpretar
información obtenida a través de recursos como
entrevistas, conversaciones, registros, memorias,
entre otros, con el propósito de indagar en su
significado profundo.
Se trata de un modelo de investigación de uso extendido
en las ciencias sociales, basado en la apreciación e
interpretación de las cosas en su contexto natural.
3. Características de la investigación cualitativa
Es interpretativa. Analiza el lenguaje (escrito, hablado, gestual o
visual).
Su lugar de estudio es el contexto natural del fenómeno a estudiar, lo
que puede implicar el desplazamiento del sujeto investigado.
A la luz de las indagaciones, construye interpretaciones y conclusiones
sobre los fenómeno.
Comprende que su objeto de estudio responde a una cultura, cuyos
valores debe respetar para que el análisis sea válido.
