7. Hardpan Soil conditions
Soil compaction is one of the major problems facing modern
agriculture.
Intensive cropping, short crop rotations.
Low organic matter in soil content and use of tillage or grazing at high soil
moisture content.
Chemical fertilizer
Insecticides, germicides, & herbicides influence negatively on soil
microorganisms.
Soil structure
As micro and macro-aggregates break down, the soil structure can
collapse - reducing pore spaces for air and water and reducing microbial activity.
Broad-spectrum fungicides can further reduce the level of microbiological
activity.
8. Hardpan Soil conditions
BioCat+ prevents the nitrogen loss to leachate and
denitrification.
Reduces the cost of expensive fertilisers.
Prevention of underground water pollution by helping to
properly assimilate ammonium or urea.
Greatly improves microbial activity in the rhizosphere.
Improves root structure and nutrient uptake.
Improves resistance to fungal attacks.
