Background on Tamar Energy
 Vision: to build a UK-wide network of AD facilities to
generate 100MW of renewable energy
 REA’s “Renewable Energy Company 2014”
 Established in 2012. Today:
– 4 x operational facilities (Basingstoke, Halstead, Holbeach,
Retford), combined capacity 8 MWe
– 1 x facility in construction (Hoddesdon, 3 MWe)
– 3 x development projects with planning consent (Greater
London, Somerset and Tyne and Wear)
– Full pipeline of development projects in strategic locations
