James Morrison is a British singer-songwriter from Rugby, Warwickshire who released his debut single "You Give Me Something" and album "Undiscovered" in 2006. He grew up listening to his parents' record collection and learning guitar from his uncle. Morrison had whooping cough as a baby that resulted in his distinctive vocal tone. Though his music career is winding down after three successful albums and awards like a Brit Award, Morrison's songs are still widely known and played, and he has inspired many with a difficult childhood through his success relying on music.
