After opening Game Maker started importing my sounds, I right clicked on the “Sounds” folder to create a new sound and changed the name of the sound
to “gun”.
2. I opened the folder with my sound in it and selected the gun sound I wanted to use. I used the same process for my music and death sound.
3. I created a new object to put my music into the game.
4. I went onto “music 1” which can be found on the right of the window, created an event and then dragged the sound pre-made script and set it to play my
music on a loop from the start of the game.
5. I put my death sound into the Explosion2 object, except I didn’t put this one on a loop. I added a “stop sound” script; this stops the main music so that the
death sound can be heard.
The gun sound was essentially the same thing but without stop sound script.
