12. Transport infrastructure investment is projected to increase at an
average annual rate of about 5% worldwide during the period of 2014
to 2025.
By 2050, 66% of the world’s population is projected to be urban.
Increase of 2.5B people. As the world continues to urbanize,
sustainable development challenges will be increasingly concentrated
in cities.
Increased growth in infrastructure spending

I’d like to wrap up with this brief summary…
No training time – supports people leaving the project – also supports leave…
Configurable across projects
At a high level, one common challenge is seamlessly collaborating across organizations. Parsons and many other leaders in the industry have solved this challenge by implementing a secure, neutral project-wide systems such as Aconex.
Another challenge is providing adequate visibility to the owner, which can be solved by implementing a system that the owner can access, making it easy to transmit updates and reports to the owner within the same system you use for your day to day project workflows and communication.
Also, particularly with infrastructure projects, complying with government regulations can add significant administration to a project. Implementing a solution that is flexible and configurable enough to manage and automate your specific processes and deliverable can save immense time and administrative costs.
Thank you for the opportunity to present to you today. I will turn the webinar back to Janet Poses for a wrap up and Q&A.

We are really proud of the success and the value our customers are seeing from using Aconex. I’d like to recognize our Aconex Connect award winners and Constructech Vision Award winners who are here in the room.
Graham decreased RFI turnaround times by 50% and time to solicit bids by 90%.
Ledcor reduced change request approval cycles by 80% and time spent searching for documents by 90%.
You can see that the University of Alaska reduced design review cycle processes up to 75% but I won’t steal anymore of Mike’s thunder. We will hear directly from him firsthand in just a minute.
I do want to share one more interesting story which really talks to what can be achieved with a configurable system. As an industry specific solution, Aconex naturally manages field processes such as defect tracking and field inspections and more recently, we’ve been really excited to see how Aconex is making a significant difference in safety management. Collahuasi actually reduced the time it takes them to conduct daily safety inspections from up to 5 hours to under an hour. How: paper based inspection, manual data entry to excel, manual communication. 22 inspectors.
This was a saving of over US$650,000 annually resulting in inspectors focussing on the value added part of their jobs, ensuring a safe jobsite.
Thank you again for joining us here tonight and giving me the opportunity to speak to you. I hope we can chat further after dinner.
Now I would like to introduce Mike Ruckhaus, one of our 2016 Constructech Vision Award finalists.
Before Mike presents we would also like to present him with his Aconex Connect Award for innovative use and remarkable results in Higher Education. >>>Courtney / Janet.
